Bought a fridge,washer,dryer, and a brand new stove from them initially. Then I bought a dryer for another rental unit. The dryer ended up burning the tenants clothing 1st use. The driver went back to pick the dryer up and told me he couldn’t get the dryer that he or someone from his company put in the basement back up the stairs because it doesn’t fit. I laughed as this couldn’t be real, but it was. He left without getting the dryer. I called the company and got the girl who works at the store. In short, she is rude and has no people skills whatsoever. I just hung up. After an entire day and basically a full on investigation I was able to contact the owner. He wasn’t much help,but he did figure out how to get the dryer out of the basement and replace it. I gave them another shot (avoiding the unbelievably rude girl at the store) and had them replace the washer. That washer flooded the basement two days after they delivered it. It took them 3 days to respond. When they did they replaced the washer with one that looked like they played soccer with it, but hey, at least it worked. That was enough for me to never use them again. As for the original four appliances I bought, the fridge lasted 3 months. They did nothing for me. The washing machine made it 9 months. Soooo, out of 6 initial purchases 2 are ok. 1 really doesn’t count because it was brand new. My belief is that they are not very good at repairing appliances and are using sub par parts. I know a few others that have had the same type of experiences. It is a used appliance place so I get things won’t always be perfect, but handle it with some sense. Forgot to add, on the first delivery they were almost 2 hours late. No phone call, no communication. When I called 45 minutes after they were supposed to be there I could tell they completely forgot. I purchased a dryer for $180 from the Catasaqua location. It came with a 3 month warranty which you would expect for such a steep price for a used appliance and also the only reason I purchased it. Well after less than a month and a half it started making a noise, stopped spinning, and stopped drying. When I called them, the first person who answered didn't speak any English except "I'll call back if 5 minutes". No call. Then I called back and the lady I talked to said she wanted pictures. So I sent pictures to the number she provided and no response. I called back and she said "I got no pictures". I said I sent them to the number you told me too so she checked again and sure enough they were there. Next she said okay I'll set up appointment and hung up. What?? No time? Didn't ask for my address??? Then I got a text an our later saying that I have to bring the dryer back to have it worked on. The receipt clearly states the the warranty includes home service on appliances purchased at the store. I told the lady this and she text back "okay" and told me they would be here at 4pm. 5:30 rolls around..no call no show. I came home early from work to be there so naturally I was upset. I asked if they were still coming and got back "no". Then "the technician is unavailable. We can be there tomorrow at 430." Well you guessed it. The Frigidaire of one of my tenants died and I purchased Frigidaire for $350 from this place. 2 months passed by and all the house was filled with cockroaches. I called pest control service and he found out not just it isn't the first time, but this Frigidaire was treated again cockroaches in the past, but there is no way to get them out of the engine of the Frigidaire. Yet, this SCAM business sold this Frigidaire again. The pest control service needed to pest the whole house twice in order to get rid of all the cockroaches. We took the Frigidaire out of the house while I chased this SCAM business for over 2 weeks just to get the phone hang on my face time after time ( what customer service, eh?) I finally end up paying another $300 for pest control and I junk a Frigidaire that cost me $650. What a waste of money and time. I went to Lowes in Whitehall and I bought a new Frigidaire for $750. Beware of this UNPROFESSIONAL SCAM BUSINESS. I finally ended up paying double for a Frigidaire that should cost me only $750. You don't save any money buying from this SCAMMERS THAT SELL YOU JUNK APPLIANCES FOR SO CALLED "HALF PRICE".
