Waffle House — Restaurant in Cayce

My dad & I aren't going to this Waffle House anymore had the worst experience there this morning & on Father's Day too might I add. When we went in this morning between 10:30am-11:00am everything was decent & all good then we ordered our food and got our food served to us it was all good up to this point too even the server was polite but this was the last of her being polite for awhile. After once we got our food & began eating my dad needed more tea & our waitress/server was rude, snobby, & bitchy towards my dad as she told my dad to wait & that she was busy with other customers, but it was the way she said it & another server had to serve my dad his tea not her the first time.Then at our table it needed a new bottle of ketchup while we were eating & again when my dad waved her to come over to our table to get a new bottle of ketchup again she got very rude, snobby, & bitchy towards my dad only this time she said was too busy announcing & helping one of the cooks make the orders to serve us, & I think it was the manger that got us the ketchup not her for the second time either & again it was all about the way she said it to my dad, bc neither time did she come to our table & politely say she would be with us in a minute once she got done. This server yelled it across the restaurant like she's at home yelling at her husband & totally disrespected my dad as a customer this morning, & we've been loyal customers to this Waffle House since it was built basically day one since it opened. Honestly, I don't know her name but she had short hair, brunette, was short, wore glasses & was old but both my dad & I think this server needs to be fired for yelling & being disrespectful to the customer since she can't keep up with the fast pace of Waffle House & other people working in the restaurant had pick up her slack anyway bc she was too was busy to really serve us anyway at least after once we got our food or the manager needs to at least have a sit down discussion with that server in private about changing her nasty attitude towards some of the customers like us & if she doesn't after a certain amount of time fire her bc my dad & I would hate see this Waffle loose 2 of its most loyal customers over something stupid like a server's nasty attitude bc the way this server yelled at my dad not only while she was at work but during our meal was rude & the most disgusted treatment we've had & according to my dad this one server is always rude, snobby, & bitchy towards her customers in her section at one point during their meal & from the way put it my dad talked about like as though this particular server is that everyday or at least everytime he eats there bc my dad said she's like that everytime goes in to eat breakfast which is once to twice month.The last time when this server was polite was when my dad was paying for our meal & we getting our to-go plates & bag to put it in & I even feel like this server was only polite bc we were leaving and she didn't have to serve or deal with us anymore & glad we were leaving but her attitude towards us made us leave sooner than later & just bc a server or waitress doesn't like who they're serving or their customer I feel when you are in public for work whether it be at restaurant or not that person should always show & treat the customer with respect & should always be polite all the time not just some of the time & especially serving at Waffle House the customer shouldn't never be told to wait to be served on & yelled at the same time 2 times during their meal all in the same day & this one server needs to be fast & not soo slow when a customer waves her down when they need something at their table or customers will start really reviewing & complaining about this one servers bad attitude & even to me the way this one server acted she acted as though she hates her job anyway & I picked that up myself after once her bad attitude came into the picture & our meal.All I know is something needs to be done about her attitude or we ain't coming back to this Waffle House again we'll go to...

Two stories about this WH.

One experience my wife and I walked in at around 12 at night because she was craving a waffle.

When I walked in and sat down no one walked over to me, I walked to the counter and asked if I could have a menu and some water, when she handed it to me she said “it’s gonna be a while before we get to you”. We sat for the better part of 30 minutes and never got a second glance. Huge waste of time.

Story 2 Is I ordered breakfast for all of my friends as a surprise, I waited the 20 minutes they told me it would take and I went to check on the food. Never started. Once it came out 30 minutes later I checked the bag, no silverware, no napkins, no syrup. Cmon man, I went back inside and asked and they said they would get me some… just started taking someone elses order who walked in after me. I even left a generous tip to this...

I went in around 11 am on a Monday morning. I observed the server remove my waffle with her fingers and wipe them on her shirt. I asked her if she expected me to eat that as she walked towards me with the plate. She looked at me with an attitude and said "Do you want me to make you another one?" I told her no, and that I would gladly pay for the strip of bacon I had eaten and half cup of coffee I had drank but I would not be eating there. My husband and I have visited this location several times in the past, needless to say no more . I was not charged for the bacon and coffee. I noticed that my fork was dirty when it was placed on the table but intended to ask for clean one when I received my breakfast. There was no need to ask for one. If I could give a 0...
