Three of us went here on two separate occasions, about a month after the place opened. The first was for dinner in the restaurant and the second was for drinks at the bar.
The interior feels very disjointed and crowded in places. I had expected a better selection of arcade classics, but that was not to be found. Seemed a bit like a very small Dave & Busters.
The menu was limited and unimaginative. On our sender's recommendation, we tried three diffreent flat breads. The food took over a half hour to arrive (we were the only customers in the restaurant, plus two couples at the bar). The wait staff disappeared after the taking the order, which meant sitting with empty glasses waiting for another round of drinks. Finally had to go to the bar to order another round. The flatbreads were simply not good. Mediocre bar fare at elevated prices.
The next night we came back for drinks at the bar. The bartenders were friendly, but not particularly competent behind the bar. This may be due to being recently opened, but is really quite unacceptable. There were, again, very few people in the facility and only 9 at the bar in total. The bartenders had trouble keeping up with only that, so I shudder to think what would happen if it was actually busy. They both displayed a lack of knowledge for what selections they had (even telling me that they had a Scotch that they did not). Overall it was not a pleasant experience.
We had been looking forward to this place opening after reading the press, and we had high hopes. It is a wonderful location, but I can't see how Baxters can survive. Sad. Like others have mentioned, the prices are far too high for the quality of the food and drink. We likely...
Read moreInteresting concept but a little odd operationally. We weren’t really sure what activities were available (free) and what required extra payment (didn’t really see any obvious signage or pricing in the restaurant). After digging around on the website, we did find that bocce was around $10/person/hour, so it would have been $50 for our family of 5 to play a game. And shuffleboard is a flat rate per hour, didn’t seem to matter how many were playing? Video game consoles also were priced by the hour it looks like? Also, not so sure who would rent the activities for a full hour, seems like a commitment if you just wanted to try them out (especially with kids)? You would have to be there for most of the day to try all the activities if you rent by the hour. I understand separate booking and pricing for the golf simulator and obviously paying for the arcade card, but the other activities should just be available for use first come-first served (similar to how they are at other locations like Pins Mechanical). The food menu was lacking, and the food taste/quality was just average. Pricing was a bit high. Staff was friendly...
Read moreWhole family went out after a long drive into town.
Kids loved the arcade I liked the fact that it was smaller so I didn't have to worry about how far they were.
Menu was pretty good for choices.
The kids "Mocktails," are super cool but a little pricey for kid drinks. Should at least let people know soda is an option.
Virtual golf is good, wish they had other equipment for other sports but, hey with time... maybe... if you don't play golf don't worry.
The emulators are free wish I had known that... darn it.
Big shout out though best thing there!!! The Wings!!! Dude 12 bucks for 6 WHOLE wings. 22 for 12. I thought the price was fair I ordered them and was waiting for some uncut GFS wings to come out. I was wrong these things are MONSTERS. Tried the Garlic Jerk for the wet sauce on em. Great... not too much heat but plenty of flavor. Sauces made in house I found out soooo... good.
Family of 5 went in for under 250 with arcade, food, and drinks for me and momma... not bad at all nice place would go again if...
