PCS — Local services in Cecil Township

Our law firm has worked with Pittsburgh Computer Solutions for several years. We have always been satisfied with their service. They are professional, responsive and very reasonably priced. But their assistance through the Pandemic, especially in the earliest days, proved their value to us. We had just completed the final components of our 2019 IT plan relative to hardware and met with PCS in January of 2020 to discuss our next steps. Specifically, we planned to move away from an on-site server to a cloud based platform by June of 2020. We had also determined in 2018 that remote access was not a primary component to our practice needs and had moved away from that. When the global pandemic hit in March of 2020 we were completely unprepared. PCS knew of our current capabilities, assessed our immediate, mid term and long term needs and immediately went to work to keep us up and running. Our entire staff and all of our attorneys were able to work remotely without missing one day of productivity thanks entirely to the proactive, innovative and creative efforts of the PCS staff. They accelerated our transition to the cloud while accommodating the trepidations and discomfort of senior lawyers and staff. We needed equipment that we had not anticipated and that was not immediately available from vendors. PCS found - or created - short term solutions and then seamlessly integrated the long term solutions as the necessary equipment became available. While it was not an immediate focus, they did all of this while watching our bottom line and worked efficiently and cost effectively. We noticed this in June when we met to reassess and it was very much appreciated. Most importantly, they stayed with us every step of the way and kept us running, which means we continued to service clients and kept our employees working and employed. I have been using PCS for close to 10 years now. I meet the founder Marty Stranges thru 1 of my clients. After Marty's passing in 2016 David Deuerling has taken ownership and lead the company to where it is today. Dave has done a great job with PCS and his staff is excellent to work with. I have my own business and was hired in 2018 after the passing of Frank Brownlee with Brownlee Trucking to oversee several of his companies. They all required a complete overhaul of the there computer system & network. I brought in PCS because I new that I could trust Dave to get us on the right track and within our budget. I can not say enough about how wonderful David and his entire team at PCS are. PCS is always responsive in every aspect, including unscheduled problems that need addressed immediately.
