Awful experience. First our Caesar salad was not tossed. It had a pile of dressing in the center. Next I ordered a small pizza with sausage and got a pizza with pepperoni on it instead. Then we had a ham sandwich that we ordered with lettuce only. We got the sandwich and there was only ham and cheese on it. The cheese was cold, it ripped like paper, and felt like a tire. We then asked our waitress if it was supposed to be like that and she said yes because the lettuce cools it down after it is melted. Yet there was no lettuce anywhere on the sandwich. We then were told we could talk to the manager and he came out with an attitude and did not want to help us at all. You would think after so many complaints he would be apologetic. Nope. He came and stood there quietly and said what’s the problem. We asked about the sandwich and were told that the cheese is supposed to be like that. We have got this sandwich numerous times and the cheese was warm and melted. We then decided we had enough and asked for our bill. We were waiting for about 5 minutes for it to come. We decided to go to the front desk to get to go boxes for the pizza we ordered since that was the only good thing about the meal. Our waitress came up and handed us our bills at the counter. We were waiting to pay as the girl at the counter was standing there on her phone. She got our waitress to check us out and she came up with an attitude saying she was gonna come get our bills yet she handed them to us at the counter. We asked her at the end if there was supposed to be lettuce on the sandwich because we ordered it with lettuce and she said yes and then asked the person who was making our sandwich and she said no she didn’t put it on there. To add onto all of this I saw 3 of the people making food in the kitchen on their phones the entire time. We should’ve walked out as soon as we walked in and it was...
Read moreOur kids love Cedar Lake Aurelios’ Chicken Alfredo - and since we had gotten off I65 this Aurelios was closest to home so we ordered carry out.
It was my mistake to think the recipes would be the same - or at the very least consistent. The mostaccioli noodles (only pasta option available) were soggy as if they were sitting in water for days. The sauce was bland and on top (not broiled or cut up like Cedar Lakes) was, was seemed to be a processed chicken patty. My girls were disappointed.
I ordered a chicken Caesar salad - same chicken as the pastas was thrown on top, massive pieces of Romain thrown in the container and barely any Parmesan or croutons. I was better off getting a head of Romain lettuce from Stracks and eating it out of the bag. The Caesar dressing was sour tasting- and the bread that came on the side with the dinners tasted as if it were sitting in a fridge for days, absorbing all food smells stored in it.
If our issue was one thing, I wouldn’t be writing a negative review- but every item we brought home was a mess. Maybe next time we’ll think twice about ordering dinner items from a...
Read moreWent to Aurelio’s in Lowell tonight for dinner for my son’s birthday. Walked in, waited in the front as the sign says, “Please wait to be seated.” For 15 minutes, no one ever even acknowledged us. There were 4 different people at the front counter that never even said so much as hello. I worked as a manager for a pizza restaurant for 8 years. My employees at the front counter were always trained that no matter if it was a dine in, you at LEAST greet the customer and let them know, that YOU know they are there and waiting. Instead I had 4 different people staring at us in different turns and never saying a word. If the server was too busy in the dining room, fine. But don’t make me wait around for 15-20 minutes feeling awkward. I would have happily just went somewhere else and not waited around had they just said the dining room was too full. But being completely ignored? The lack of customer service was just appalling. This was our first time coming here too, but I...
