Don Delfis House of Pancakes — Restaurant in Cedar Creek Township

We were looking for a restaurant to have brunch on our way home and found this family restaurant. My husband likes to say that, if you're looking for a local restaurant/diner, look how many cars are parked outside and that should tell you if it's a good place to eat. Lots of cars parked, checked. We went inside and I ordered Louisiana omelet. First off, taste was really good, lots of chicken, harsh brown cooked the way I asked. Second, I had 3 eggs and; lastly, the serving is so much bigger than what you would expect on their price! 0 stars cups smell and taste like soap, gave me hashbrowns ask for dice potato, ask for jelly never got it.. when I think the owner asked how everything I told him. The look he gave me was priceless, had nothing to say, but the look was like he didn't believe me. Never apologize. Just turned around said something to the lady working and walked in the back. I WANTED TO PAY FOR ME FOOD!! They canceled it so I couldn't, they said... owner needs to own up and remember your customers are what keeps you in business!!! I'm still waiting for an apology that I know I'll never get. Trll me sorry on here is not the same as in person, Especially with that look on his face. Went in today with my wife and 5 of our kids, we where told that they couldn't serve us because we had to many people and that a high chair is a fire hazard, there where tables with the same if not more then us but all adults, seems like this place seen kids and didn't want to serve us, it's a damn pancake house, your going to have kids, and how is a high chair a fire hazard? The hostess seemed like she didn't feel like doing her job at all, I suggest if you have kids that you skip this place and go to George's, we sat right down and where served with smiling faces... definitely will not be going back to this...
