Moo's Bakery — Restaurant in Cedar Falls

Okay, I have to share this as I'm overly impressed with the flavor, the freshness, the texture, the quality of the products here. Our daughter is Gluten intolerant and she can eat here without issues. The sign on the door says 100% plant based, and I'm told her products are vegan. I used to be a skeptic about gluten-free, 100% plant based products until our daughter who is a baker became Gluten intolerant. After trying commercially purchased Gluten-Free or Gluten-Sensitive baked goods I thought my baked goods cravings were over. Our daughter being the determined young woman she is found substitutes and tricks to make Gluten-Free taste good. The owner at Moo's Bakery she has also mastered the craft of baking 100% plant based baked goods. From the cookies to the muffins, and to the scones. This young lady has it figured out. Our scones this morning were so fresh, moist and amazing. Every bite was a burst of flavor!!! If you are in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and craving the freshest and most flavorful baked goods stop in at Moo's Bakery and try her baked goods. Our daughter also loves her drinks. She says the Original Matcha is absolutely the best Matcha she has ever had. Again, shop local and support local talent and a hard working entrepreneur. UPDATE: September 7, 2025 - Okay, this young lady is so talented! I had to do the Blue Berry Scone as they are super delicious. My spouse had the Raspberry Cinnamon Roll. Okay, I have a new Moo's favorite. This Cinnamon Roll is over the moon!!! So moist, so full of Cinnamon and Raspberry, such good icing, and above all soft. Oh my did I just drool on my phone delicious!!!! If you have not tried Moo's Raspberry Cinnamon Rolls you don't know what you are missing. We were looking for a local bakery in Cedar Falls to make our daughter's cake for her college graduation. Since we live a distance away we used Google to find one there. Moo's bakery popped up. We were looking through their menu and they happened to have the cake our daughter wanted-it was meant to be!(The Samantha vintage cake). It was easy to customize and order online. We ordered the Red velvet/cream cheese and it turned out wonderful! It wasn't dry like some red velvet's can be. The frosting was delicious-perfect combination.

Best 100% plant-based bakery in Cedar Falls, or maybe ever. They not only have divine cake balls, cheesecake, scones, cinnamon rolls, chai, matcha etc., they also have the best vegan breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. When you walk in you’re always greeted by a friendly employee or one of the super kind owners. While you wait for your order, you can sit on their comfy couch and take a selfie or group photo with their camera and/or pick an animal spirit card for a cute, positive little message. The service is always great and you always get more than what you pay for. They always have updates on their Facebook page about when they’re closing early and/or sold out of an item.
