Ever since McDonald’s covertly changed the way you gain points on the mobile app, making it more inconvenient for introverts, I haven’t gotten bonus points one single time. I’ve tried. And I’ve been to McDonald’s literally 20+ times, and have consistently tried to figure out how to get bonus points. When I tell them to the person on the intercom before I order, they get all confused like I gave them the wrong code, then I give them the order code, then it’s too late in the process to get the points.
So at this location, I wanted them to explain it to me, so I would know how to collect points in the future. The first girl didn’t speak English. The second girl spoke English somewhat, but not enough to understand, and she ended up saying a version of “the system is down.” The manager, same result - didn’t understand what I was asking, didn’t know how to get points. The one guy who DID speak English told me that I need to give the number when I order - which was funny to me because HE WAS THE GUY I ORDERED WITH AND GAVE HIM THE NUMBER.” It makes sense that the only guy who speaks English is stuck on the intercom. It’s not racist to encourage folks to speak the same language — it’s practical!
I would have about 10,000 bonus points by now if McDonald’s didn’t decide it was too easy for introverts to accrue points!

Read moreI just left this location. I have to say that it has really bad customer service!.. from placing the order through the drive-thru, to paying and confirming the order.. to being asked to park ahead and wait, to the manager coming out to hand deliver my order (after 5 mins to make well done fries) and commenting that if I placed my specific request at the screen or through the cashier... I was dumbfounded that he asked.. at first, as if to try to correct me about when to place my request and dismiss there incompetent "young" employees (not there fault, just badly trained.) that are not keeping track of themselves and what they're doing. After I confirmed when I placed my order and he apologized about the wait and frustration, he said "wait just a minute, while I run inside to get you a free meal card for next time.. since you were inconvenienced." I said it was ok, but fine with me. He took off and after a couple mins. I corrected myself about being more inconvenienced for waiting.. Again. I feel this place was rude and doesn't have the proper approach to handle customers. I won't be returning...
Read moreDon't come in the evenings/at night. Their night crew is made up of absolutely miserable people. Every single time I've come here after work I always get the rudest person on speaker and window, my order is almost always wrong, and asking for a correction is like wronging them personally. I work food service and closings, I really truly get it. I really try to be understanding bc sometimes you have a sucky day. I hate asking for corrections, but the stuff I ask to take off I literally can't have. Most recent time I came through drive through I was sat waiting at the speaker forever with no one else in line, I mentioned and tried to be polite when I saw the correction not on the board, was sassed back that they heard me the first time, and they still put it on my food. And guy was rude from start to finish. It's one thing to happen once, its another for this to happen every single time I come here with different people each time. I can't speak for morning/mid day staff and food, but just drive to a different location or get something else any...
