Absolutely never go to this restaurant.
We went to this location tonight to pick up some food for the family after I had gotten off work. We noticed some cars waiting out front (and now that I think about it, their order was probably wrong too) and wondered what they were doing. We get up to the line and tried to order. The person over the speaker was very hard to understand as it sounded like he didn't speak much English. That isn't really his fault but combined with the very poor sounding speaker, made for a difficult order experience. Well whatever, when we asked him to read our order back, it sounded correct. At least somewhat.
We get up to the window and pay for our food. I was sitting in the passenger seat and checked out food when we got the bag. Found the spicy chicken sandwich we ordered with the fries, found something that looked like a surf and turf box, and a surprise 3 piece chicken and a missing chicken sandwich with fries. I took the order back in and told the same guy that took our order that it was wrong and explained what was wrong. Turns out the guy next to me at the counter also had a wrong order. When I said out loud to the guy that I had a 3 piece that I didn't order, another duo waiting in the lobby said that was probably the 3 piece they were missing. He had already thrown out the food to restart the 3 ORDERS that were wrong so it was too late.
After waiting about 10 minutes for a new order, the same guy that took my order had brought me a new bag and began to read me my order back. He started off with "2 classic chicken sandwiches-" and I cut him off there to correct him that we should have one spicy and one normal that we had ordered. I didn't even hear what he said to me as he spoke quietly and with his thick accent but one sandwich bag had a c on it so I just went with it. I am just amazed that he was already getting the order wrong a second time when he tried to get it right. I check the rest of the bag and the receipt and it was STILL WRONG. We were missing our surf and turf box and we had a 3 piece tender we didn't order! How is it possible to keep messing this up?? I called him back over and told him I still needed a surf and turf and he said it would be a few minutes.
I was ready to give up at this point and just waited for the box. The box had 4 tiny pieces of ship and two tiny tenders. After we got it we finally just left, unhappy and frustrated.
To finish up this review, I just have to question what the management is doing at this location. Have they just given up here? This location has 3.3 stars on google maps at the time of reviewing this with the one star category being a large portion of the reviews. In the reviews that I did scroll though I was unable to find a single owner response to any of the concerns similar to mine or any other problems like cold and dry food that comes out of this Popeyes. Are the managers here just trying to ignore and wait for the problem to go away naturally? If the managers really did care they would work to fix the problems here and work on their staff to train them properly to avoid all these issues everyone has in the future.
I can understand if these issues are a rare occurrence due to a simple mistake but every single time I go here, my order is wrong and hardly gets fixed properly.
Food was cold, at least it tasted decent.
Never going to this location again. And you shouldn't either until either management gets their act together or a wave of competent staff starts...
Read moreIf I could give you 0 Stars I would .This used to be my favorite location. Until the experience I had on March 6th at around 8:30pm. I parked walked in I was super hungry. Mind you I am a Store manager at a local store close to this location. I figured I was just going to eat my meal an have a great night. Not the experience I had. I waited in line at first for about 5 minutes I noticed many things that we're going on that as a manager myself put me at an unease. I noticed that there was one younger teenage girl with pink hair in the front running the register that did not know what she was doing. I noticed that the lady with the pink hair was having an issue with a customer at the register. She said well hold on a second I need to get my manager. As she walk to the back to grab the keys the manager said something to her as she was in the back mixing gravy and making up mashed potatoes with gravy. Obviously she was too busy to help her employed. She Completely ignored her employee the girl with the pink hair that was running the register as she said she needed help. I noticed that the employee figured out what she needed to do to help the the customer without the manager. It seemed like the (Manager) she was too busy to help. At that time I had also noticed the African American young man was talking to someone that had a to-go order and had mentioned to the guy with the to go order that some of his orders of chicken weren't ready and if they could substitute it for something else. I noticed he had asked this customer three times for substitution of the chicken he had already ordered. Which made this customer very frustrated angry and uneasy I noticed. Once again the manager was too busy to help. Because they were out of everything. I had then stood in line for almost 15 minutes without anyone even acknowledging me or saying hi or trying to take my order. Another customer in line made the comment that there were more people working behind the counter at the restaurant then there were people standing in line .There were about eight employees working half of them standing around. The manager was too busy to help anyone or even acknowledge anyone. Obviously the manager of this location does not care about the service of her customers or acknowledge or help her employees or even acknowledge their existence. I at this time after waiting 20 minutes in line behind about 5 other people that had not been acknowledged or talked to and no one had taken their order. I left and headed to the other location on Old 183 where I had a great experience! I will never be back to this location due to the horrible customer service. And it's called fast food why would I go to a fast food restaurant to wait 20...
Read moreI give this place a one star due to the customer service that I received. The guy cleaning the lobby was too impatient to wait for me to finish getting ice for my drink that he had to excuse me from the ice machine so he could mop where I was standing. I came in an hour before they closed they managed to have no dark meat. I asked for a 12 piece mixed and manage to get 2 chicken breasts 1 thigh and the rest wings. I sent my boyfriend back to the counter to retrieve some dark me which happens to be my favorite I had ordered the spicy chicken. Instead of cooking the spicy chicken which I've ordered they replaced it with 4 legs of the mild recipe I settled for that and did not complain. The crew still managed to clean up they swept around the lobby asked me if anything needs to be filled up at the table while I was eating which had me feeling rushed or in their way. They pulled the sweet tea from the lobby and through that away leaving no sweet tea in the restaurant for any refills all this became irritating and I express my concern with the manager. While expressing myself the manager she started to get an attitude and snotty with me. She was very unprofessional in the way she handled herself in addition to that her appearance was not very presentable she had suck marks/ hickeys up and down her neck. She was very hood and trashy looking. After speaking with her I realized I was not going to get any results so I asked for corporate number which she referred me to the owner of the store. In all fairness I called him 2 weeks after the incident and refinding his phone number to tell him what was going on in his store. The only thing he did was gave me excuses for why the store was the way it was and training issue. He asked me what he could do to make it right as it if you really have to ask. He made no offer and I made no request in the long run I just won't go back and God forbid if you go there and get the same service after I've told you this. I truly hope your service is better than mine but I won't be seeing you there to find...
