Taco Cabana — Restaurant in Cedar Park

I decided to give it another try after a few string of bad service and food last year. I should have just left it alone. Awful drive thru experience again. Long wait on the food even though no one inside and only one other person in line. When he hands me the food, he gives me the bag of queso and chips and the styrofoam box with my taco plate by itself, no bag for the box. I ask if there is a bag for the box and he says no we don’t have any bags for that. I left and parked to check to make sure I got everything ( I didn’t want the car behind me have yo wait any longer ) and sure enough, no pico and no salsa/sauce for the tacos. I walked into the store to let them know and get the sauces. They point me to the self service salsa bar — defeats the purpose of going through the drive thru. Oh and right by the salsa bar is a bunch of plastic bags that could have fit my whole order. I talked to the manager but there was no accountability there. I’ll just stick to Rosa’s for this type of convenience, quick Texmex food. Rosa’s has good food, quick and friendly service, and it’s always consistent. That’s why their Google ratings and reviews are so much better then this TC location. I’m done with this...

Just had the pleasure of being mistreated by this restaurant again. Ordered a dozen breakfast tacos (taco cabana way) as well as a couple of additional tacos and a small coffee at the drive through. Long story short... Didn't get what I ordered. The guy who took my order seemed ok, but the lady at the window didn't speak English very well and I have to wonder if she comprehends it just as poorly.

Called and complained to the manager and was invited to drive back over and get my food. Nice. Let me do something twice (time, gas, and schedule) because of their incompetance. How about they put the incompetent worker in their car and deliver my food to me at their time and expense?

Opened up one of the tacos I did get served and it was so pathetically small it was gone in two (2) bites. Are you kidding me? I lived in SATX while in the USAF and had the pleasure of experiencing good service and incredible value when this was a locally owned and operated business. TC has evolved into a rather sad misrepresentation of its...

My daughter and I went through the drive-thru around 9:30pm on a Saturday night, they weren't busy, so I expected to be in and out. The service was so slow, the people in front of me were putting their cars in park...including myself.

We finally got up to the window 15 minutes later for our quesadilla and 6 flautas and the man working the window was wearing gloves while handling the money AND the food, another employee was texting on her phone, and the other employee decided to take a water break. This was all in clear view of the drive thru window.

Obviously this place is lacking management or maybe better training needs to be provided to show these people how to work as a team to show turn around time. I was in no hurry for the food, but when you have people sitting in park in the drive through, employees handling money and food with the same pair of gloves and another employee texting while she should probably be prepping food...I'm sure there's homeless people who would appreciate this job more than...
