I have passed this place for over a year or more and due to the low reviews on Google I have skipped it. Today me and my son were passing and by and he said lets give it a try, so we did. First off, the place was very clean at 5:00PM. Bathroom was clean as well. Atmosphere was nice as well. Ordering was slightly annoying as I could not understand the person taking my order. I think he was just talking really fast but because I have never eaten here before I had a hard time understanding what he was repeating, perhaps he is so used to repeating orders he says them super fast. My son said he could understand him but man I struggled and I don't struggle anywhere else. Anyways, he was nice and all so I don't hold it against him just think maybe he should slow it down bit as the entire order sounded like a run-on sentence. Our total for a two burgers, one fry , and two regular drinks seamed way overpriced. No, it was definitely overpriced at $32.65. Two combos with fries and large drinks everywhere else is $25 or less. For a great burger at a great price I suggest Buddy's Burger. Great burgers and great price. Your order is cooked fresh and completed almost before you finish getting your drink! So on to the food. Great burgers cooked just right and not over seasoned like many other places. No complaints on the burgers outside of the price. Fries were a little bland, we tossed them out after eating 2-3 of them. Drinks were tiny but you get free refills so whatever. One more thing, they have a tip screen when paying that is the first screen. What am I tipping for and to who? I just ordered, am I tipping for the ordering process? I have not even had my food yet how can I tip for my experience if all I have done is order? Super weird and after almost $33 for two burger I feel the owner needs to tip the employees if they are amazing. May sound crazy but that tip screen makes me not want to eat here almost as much as the overall price. Verdict: Due to price and that tip screen I will not be coming back. Burger was really good but I can't drop $33 bucks on burgers, that is just crazy.

Food was absolutely terrible. The taste is completely bland, my family of 3 could not taste the fries and burgers seemed dry, hard and flat. Food looks nothing like what the menu shows. The cheese steak was the biggest shocker, meat was maybe enough for a small child. They used a square American cheese slice and half melted it on the meat. The bread was cold and not toasted or fresh. As for the service, it was a disappointment from the start which I should have known meant the food might disappoint as well. Apparently you can't add food to your order once the cashier decides to add a name to your order prior to hitting total/swiping your card. Shelly said that you can't add food anymore since she decided to hit a "certain" button. Therefore, we would have to make a separate order. So we passed on ordering more food. Thankfully we didn't order more. Seriously hoped this place would be good, but truly was a terrible waste of money. BTW its $15 a person if you get a meal - minimum. We didn't get fries for everyone or drinks, due to the cashier not knowing how to run the computer. Thus, a kid and 2 adults was $35 without meals, just burgers. Surely our experience was a lack of management training their cooks and cashiers to the standard of Wayback Burgers. ....Unfortunately multiple personnel failed in the service and food experience which is the entire point of such a restaurant. And they play music with Wayback Burger advertisements coming on loud every few minutes,... that was weird! And I am the type to not typically write a bad review or have criticism.....

I recently embarked on a culinary adventure to experience the gastronomic delights offered by Wayback Burgers. From the moment I stepped foot into the establishment, I was greeted with impeccable customer service that set the tone for a delightful dining experience. Not only was my order executed flawlessly, but the presentation of the food was a feast for the eyes. As a connoisseur of fine flavors, I opted for the Cajun burger and fries and let me tell you, it was a symphony of taste sensations. The perfectly seasoned patty combined with the harmonious blend of spices transported my taste buds to new heights of culinary ecstasy. Each bite was a revelation, a testament to the artistry that goes into crafting a truly exceptional burger. While it is true that the price point at Wayback Burgers may be perceived as slightly elevated, one must consider that quality comes at a cost. In this case, every penny spent translates into an unparalleled burger experience that is worth its weight in gold. In a world where mediocrity reigns supreme, stumbling upon a gem like Wayback Burgers is akin to finding a culinary oasis in a desert of mundane offerings. In conclusion, if you are seeking not just a meal but an epicurean journey, look no further than Wayback Burgers. Prepare your palate for a symphony of flavors, your senses for a culinary awakening, and your soul for a truly transcendent dining experience

There was only 1 table when we walked in and they already had their food. 2 employees were working, 1 in the kitchen and 1 at the register. We were not greeted by the cashier who we assumed was the manager. He stood at the register staring us down while we looked at the menu. This was only our 2nd time coming and our 1st at this location. We were trying to see if it was better than we remembered from the 1st visit. I asked him about how big the chicken strips were he said well they aren't uniform. They have to be similar or else they would be by the ounce and not the piece! Ummm...can I get a ballpark? Like do I need to get a kids meal for my kid or an adult meal? Simple question. FYI they are super tiny! Every question we asked he seemed super bothered and his answers were very clipped. Again the restaurant was EMPTY! We felt very rushed to order. The drinks are behind the counter, but they had some juices as well so I asked if we could taste them, he ignored that and my husband just chose something. Once our name was called I checked to see if everything was there. It's all wrapped separate so we should have had 2 sandwiches, a boat of strips and 3 fries. There were only 2 fries in the bag. He was already back in the kitchen helping the cook and I asked him if we should have 3 fries. Instead of coming out of the kitchen to check my bag he says from the kitchen "Everthing is in there." Which didn't even answer my question! I asked him again and then he rolls his eyes takes his gloves and comes around the counter. Looks at the receipt and says you should have 2 fries. I only charged you for 1 combo. Ummm you gave us 2 drinks. "Hmmm...I don't know why I did that" At this point I was ready to go so I said nevermind we're good. Then he says "Oh I do owe you another fry." 🤦🏾‍♀️ Goes back to the kitchen grabs it, hands it to us and walks off. No apology or anything. Food wasn't even that good. Nothing was seasoned good, very...
