Arby's — Restaurant in Cedar Rapids

I stopped by here on a Friday evening after driving back from out of town. It was on my way home and I wanted something quick and easy. I went through the drive thru around 745 pm. The lady took my order quickly, a turkey bacon sandwich, curly fries and a chocolate shake. I pulled around and received my food in a timely manner. I had ordered a small shake but the lady accidentally made me a medium one. She gave it to me without any to do. The food is your typical Arby's drive thru. It was good but nothing extra. The curly fries were hot and fresh and the shake was tasty. The sandwich had a good amount of meat and toppings on it. The lady at the drive thru was very nice and pleasant thru the whole experience. I would recommend going to the Arby's on 1st Ave. Seems to be as good as any place for a decent quick...

Arby's is known for wholesome sandwiches featuring beef. In general, I have had several good experiences with Arby's products in the past, but I want to share a recent unpleasant experience in this review.

This week, I purchased a Reuben sandwich at this store's drive-through window, as I have done multiple times recently. Not more than a couple hours after finishing my lunch, I started feeling waves of intense stomach cramps. I suspect some kind of food-born pathogen or contamination (aka food poisoning), since I had nothing except the sandwich for lunch, and no reason to suspect any other cause (my health is very good).

I hope this review gets read by Arby's management team and steps are taken to prevent this kind of problem...

Asked for Xtra cheese sauce, knew I should have just gotten the cup on the side of it. Barely any on this thing.

I had it remade, turns out two little pumps one on top and bottoms is normal. They had me open it in the store, I had a weird panic attack in my car because I don't like controversy and felt super embarrassed opening my sandwich on the counter to see the amount of cheese.

I offered to purchase an extra cheese cup (they had offered to remake the sandwich and I agreed). They gave me a cheese cup with it. So now I know the amount of cheese is not equal to the amount of roast beef on a double beef and cheese and to order a cheese cup from now on.... At a different location I'll never go back after feeling so...
