I have only been to the Czech Village 1 or 2 times...I wish I had known this place served breakfast ALL DAY and has AMAZING Eggs Benedict. They have 3 different kinds and they offer a dish (Benedict Flight) that will give u one of each (in my photo). All I can say is WOW 😲 it's like they know me and made the dish just for me. My favorite of the 3 was the Florentine with no turkey. I am a sucker for Swiss cheese, spinach, and tomato all on an English muffin topped with a perfectly over medium egg and smothered in hollandaise...🤤. The sausage, egg, and country gravy was very good and so was the normal benedict, so WIN WIN no matter what. They must locally source the sausage and Canadian bacon or just get good quality. It tasted like real meat, not like frozen patties or slice ham from a package. The gravy and hollandaise were delicious 😋 and they are not stingy about it. Way better thn I expected. The French toast was yummy (who can screw up French toast...wait..I can name a few places), but just regular nothing too out of the box about it. The pancake 🥞 was way bigger thn my head...and I have a big head. It was good, but I wish it was a bit fluffier, but I ate it. I also wish they offered fresh blueberries to put in it. My buddy said the hashbrowns were nice and crispy. The coffee was not bad, but best of all it was piping hot and they gave me lots of refills. The ONLY bad thing was the fruit cup. Strawberries were dry and yucky looking, both melons had seen better days, and it looked like the core of the pineapple. I refused to pay $3.99 for it and they did not make me. 🥰 The staff was so nice, hospitable, accurate, and accommodating. Also, the bathrooms were clean 😅 always a good sign. We will definitely come here again and I will get less food (maybe, no guarantees..I kind of like alot of food)...so yummy. BTW - The lunch and dinner looked great too..maybe next time..lol What a great start...

The wait seemed to take forever we had time to walk the whole Czech district, stop for tons of pics and still waited 25 minutes once we got back. But that's not the fault of the wait staff as it seemed everything else in town was closed. But I'm here to tell you the food was well worth the wait (they do have paid arcade style games and free Tiki Toss and Giant Connect 4 while you wait so I isn't all bad)! The portion sizes here are so big you will absolutely have left overs. (We didn't get pancakes but several people around us did and they were seriously the biggest ones I've ever seen and everyone eating them was raving about their deliciousness). We ended up snagging a seat at the bar and our bartender, Chloe was phenomenal! Everyone we saw was working their butts off, which was a refreshing change in today's climate. I have tried so hard to make myself like Bloody Mary's but just haven't found the right one yet, well that may have changed at Lucky's. Chloe makes them right, garnished with a Pickle, a piece of bacon and an olive it was the best bloody mary I've ever tried and I think I'm finally on board with the brunch cocktail. My husband and I both got a Skillet and they were so delicious I ate way more than I needed too. Give Luckys on 16th a try you sill...

My wedding party and chose this restaurant as our brunch date location to discuss the wedding. We love supporting smaller businesses, and were ecstatic when we found this mom and pop restaurant. This choice was a disaster!!!! Our server by the name of Savanna was extremely rude to my party, from the time we walked in until we left. Savanna even argued with my party for asking for basic services such as straws for our drinks and condiments. We thought maybe Savanna was just having a bad day, but a group larger than ours who arrived shortly after received far better service! I have no choice but to believe my party was treated with utter disrespect due to our ethnicity. The experience was truly embarrassing!! My entire party full of mother’s and business owners left disappointed, with a memory of our server yelling at us, throwing our receipts at us, and telling us she did not care about our concerns because she “was not going to loose her job”. Savanna did her best to make sure we will never return. This was the most degrading experience I’ve EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!! Sadly to say, my wedding party...

I’ve heard more than a few people rave about Lucky’s before and since I had the time to visit, I went. It had a comfortable atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff even with several full tables. All around the restaurant, there were pictures of various dishes that one could reasonably assume were selections from the menu. If so, they definitely left me wanting to try them. My choice here was the Tex Mex skillet with mashers (think the shape of cheese curds with the consistency of mashed/smiley potatoes). It was excellent. My eggs were cooked how I wanted them and the skillet was full of flavor. The mashers were light on the crisp but that worked out well for them; the fluffy centers were the main appeal and extra crispiness would have probably ruined them. The toast provided was nice and thick, strong enough to support a decent portion of skillet and a part of an egg on each piece. And in case you were wondering, yes, the pancakes are as big as your head. Something I intend to try for myself next time.
