See attached photo. This bowl cost about $15 for white meal chicken and queso added. It can be hard to tell from the photo, but the bowl was roughly half full (there is a recess in the bottom of the bowl holding most of the rice). I would estimate it is about 2/3 the food you get from a Chipotle bowl for roughly the same price or slightly more expense at Moe's. When ordering, I do not ask for more food in line. I let the restaurant decide how much they are willing to serve and decide if what I received was worth the cost. This is not worth the cost to me. Besides the mediocre bowl, there was the usual upcharge selling 3-5 times in line. There were only 2 salsa out at the salsa bar (both mild). The employee's were kind, but really only 2 of the 5 people behind the counter were doing anything. Simply not an enjoyable experience anymore. (This is an update to a mediocre review I left a year ago. I see no improvement. I see a decline in the food and service received.)

Both times I went, the place was empty so I didn't have to wait in a line. There were a lot of ingredients to choose from so the burrito I got was packed. The employee there helped me get some deals as well by downloading the Moe's Rocking Rewards app. I also love how the chips and salsa here are free. On Mondays you can get a Burrito/Bowl with chips and drink for like $6 I think they said so I'll definitely be going more often.

It's been a while since I reviewed this location. Staff rushes you thru the line even when there is no one behind you. Feels like a less than pleasant atmosphere overall. The food is good, except the rice we had was so salty we could hardly eat it. Things are tough for everyone these days, so I'm not being too critical. I still enjoy this store overall.

I’ve enjoyed Moe’s since they came to Cedar Rapids. I prefer the quality over its competitors. I still have no qualms with the quality of product - enjoyed my whole burrito and chips, I also love the wide selection of drinks offered. Today I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the restaurant and honestly disappointed not to be welcomed with the warm “Welcome to Moe’s!” that I normally get. I am the only customer in the restaurant currently between the 4-5 o clock hour. Of 14 tables to sit at- not a single booth table was wiped off or cleaned. I sat at the cleanest one I could see- because I prefer a booth and am dining alone so the 6 person tables in the middle (some are clean) aren’t what I want. There was a line of customers along with me but they carried out. After helping all the customers, both employees retreated to the back. I’m sure they are prepping or doing dishes back there but I believe they should clean up the dining area before what could potentially be a dinner rush. It wouldn’t take long to get a towel and wipe down the tables out here. Honestly, my only guess to why the atmosphere and cleanliness seem to be going down would be poor management. I hope they can train staff better or find staff that cares more about customer experience because I love the quality of the food!! However, the atmosphere is also super important especially when a single person eating could cost...

Food is good but workers are terrible, attitudes are terrible, from management down to team leads. Most of the regular workers are alright or good. But management and team leads/shift leads leave a lot to be desired. They make their own inane rules on coupons and when you read the terms and conditions of the said coupon/deal/reward/etc they just say well thats what my manager said. Or if it's the manager talking "that's what my boss said" so either the boss themselves just makes his own rules and doesn't honor franchise deals/rewards/coupons/ etc or the manager just doesn't want to/refuses to do work. I've visited several times using only morles official app rewards, coupons and deals and they will make inane rules like well these only apply to this bowl, or recently Tmobile Tuesday had a coupon you could claim before 12/10 and use any time and they said we'll only accept it on Tuesdays even though the coupon states it's valid anytime as long as it's claimed by 12/10 which is a Sunday this year. I've given them several tries and attempts always going in being professional and neutral/kind never rude yelling or anything of the sort. This is even the first time I just left and didn't get food anyways as it was too unbelievable that they wouldn't accept the coupon with no rules stating only usable on a Tuesday. Don't go here. Try other restaurants with better food customer service...

I can say I was stoked to find a restaurant within walking distance of my work. I give this place a few weeks after opening to try it out.

Never have I been so disappointed. They charged a fairly high premium for completely mediocre product. The beans were under-cooked, the lettuce wasn't crunchy, and the meat was cold! To top it off, the tortilla that was used for my burrito was so dry it actually crumbled when they tried to roll it up and they had to remake it from scratch.

I also had my 2 kids with me who got tacos and I have to say my kids will eat almost anything. They didn't even get half way through it. They complained it tasted funny and it was cold.

I would consider complaining but it took us almost 20 minutes to get our food to begin with. There was only 1 person working the line!

This all brings me back to my final note which I was hoping would be the saving grace. The salsa. I tried all the types they offered and on top of being room temperature, none of them tasted good at all. How can you mess up salsa?! It's like 4 damn ingredients. To make matters worse the chips were so old and hard they were almost inedible, it actually hurt my teeth to eat them.

This was the first time I threw over 50% of my meal away and would have considered asking for a refund if it weren't for the fact it would have taken me 20 more...
