Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Cedar Rapids

I’ve been coming here for a couple years and the drinks have never been consistent. Either they are watered down, not very blended and full of ice or over flavored. I have had some good drinks but lack of quality is a big thing at this location…..as for scooters as a company, what the hell. Got rid of the little brown paper envelope that sandwiches came in so now you serve sloppy, melted, soggy sandwiches in a paper sack and for what to save money and be more environmentally friendly….I get the environment part but why is quality being sacrificed. Would be nice be on the top of billion dollar industry providing a service that lacks quality while they still rake it in. Get it together, til then I’ll still get...

The food and drinks are good, and a lot of the baristas are kind and provide wonderful service. Some of them however are a bit passive aggressive/pushy with tips. Forgot to select a tip option while ordering on the app once because I selected the "order again" option without realizing the tip I'd placed before didn't appear, and the girl that served me filled my $8 drink 3/4ths of the way up and gave me a tight lipped "go eff yourself" smile. I understand in an industry where tips are a big part of your income being upset when you don't get them, but even in a case where it wasn't an accident that was pretty messed up. The coffee here is really tasty! Unfortunately, I had a bad experience. I was given a punch card yesterday when I requested one. Unfortunately when I asked for them to punch my card today the girl told me that only people who use the app get to use the punch card. So, I told the cashier that it wasn't fair and then she give me a dirty look and closed the window. They must have been upset because they loaded down my coffee with too much sugar. I was also disappointed that the large coffee is almost $8 at this location. I don't know how to get a hold of the manager but I hope that they will allow all of their customers to participate in their reward system...
