First time visitor. Four of us gathered for a post Christmas hang out.
We had a diverse table of orders. Mine was the Edgewood. Perfect eggs, bacon, hash-brown’s with wheat toast. I’ve traveled the country ordering the same for decades.
Impressed by this cooks ability to make runny yokes and solid whites. They all can’t this well. Imagine between easy and medium. Or, a decent basted. Thicker bacon than the typical paper thin which is why I often don’t do bacon anymore. Tasty OJ, not a fake watered down flavored water. Solid 100% concentrate width and ideal consistency. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
The guys each liked their food. We had two style omelets and a one roasted turkey eggs, everything pile can’t remember the name of.
Minus one star for huge packed parking lot. Tommy’s shares a lot with a lot of stores that musta been busy. Had to walk a football field distance from the Jeep, as heavy snow fell to and from. Worth the walk :)
OG atmosphere. Felt like I stepped back into a 1970’s diner in NY. These minus’s didn’t hinder exceptional Edgewood breakfast.
Didn’t take photos of the food or video of the parking lot. Snow pelted the lens’s. And, the guys raze me as a reviewer. Prefer not snapping pics when people prefer not to be included.

I ordered over the phone. Living right down the street, asked when to pick up so I made sure it was fresh. Upon arriving I was ignored for about 5 min by the 10 waitresses just standing around the staging area staring at me. Which is hilarious because the restaurant wasn't even busy nor half filled.
Get home, like I said I live right down the street. Obviously my food was just sitting somewhere. Everything tasted like the cardboard boxes my food came in. The eggs were trash. The pancakes were the worst I ever had in my life and they gave me a chemical filled syrup that made it worse. Oh, the best part was half way through my shipwreck I found something slimey in my food. Looked like a booger or snot rocket. Ruined my entire appetite.
This is the worst service and food I've ever experienced from this place. I remember coming in here with my grandparents for the buffet. Back when they cared, apparently. We spent $50 to be disappointed and still hungry because I don't want to eat anything. If I wanted to eat cardboard flavored food I would of went to IHOP.
Thanks for ruining my birthday breakfast. I should of just went to American Skillet 😒 They...
Read moreUsed apple maps with the prompt “pancakes” and discovered Tommy’s Restaurant. Amazing. The sweetest, warmest, most patient, 20 something waitress recommended the Monte Cristo, this was actually a first for me, I could not be more pleased. Sweet subtle hints of cinnamon with cheese, turkey and raspberry jam on crispy fried bread (actually french toast). Phenomenal! They make lemonade in house! Honestly the absolute best, most refreshing beverage! It tastes like they used the lemon zest with sugar cane, plus the juice with water. Better than any "fresh squeezed" carnival lemonade. My daughter upgraded from pancakes to the eggs Benedict which she loved. The hubby had a Reuben - Out of this world. What a pleasant surprise. This will for sure be our new go to place. Oh, and they make pies, pastries and have a $6 dozen of house made glazed donuts. What an absolute...
