I wish there was a way to have zero stars. Today, I went through the drive thru and ordered a number 11 Large, a 4 for 4 and a sour cream and chives potato. I had to repeat thing numerous times through the drive thru speaker. After we paid, we figured out that they gave us the wrong combo meal as well as no potato in the bad nor on the receipt. They failed to tell us they were out of potatos. They also gave me small drink and fries. I proceeded to park and go inside to ask for a refund. The manager in the worst attitude told me they no longer offer refunds , and could only remake our order. On top of this , proceeded to open up the food without gloves and touch all over the food. I had to tell her it needed remade completely at that time. Then I asked about the potato and was then told they didn’t have any. I realized after I left the store, that she failed to give me my receipt back. So my bf went back in and we were told that she threw the receipt away. After I left, I decided to call corporate (who was wayyyyy more than helpful) to explain what had happened and that I still wanted a refund. So she was amazingly helpful in getting the money back, along with keeping the food. When o went in to get the refund, I kept corporate on the phone. Little did that manager in store know she was on the phone, was getting a nasty attitude. She said “well where is the card to put the refund on” , and I said that they said you were getting the cash refund back. “Well I have to call that lady back!” I said no she’s on the phone you can ask her and corporate told her cash. Read moreGoing through the drive thru at this Wendy's was the worst experience ever. There were two employees who were very rude and belittling towards me. I wanted to order the Biggie Bag combo and upgrade to a spicy chicken sandwich. They very quickly told me they couldn't do that. That's not how it's made. Back home they can upgrade with an upcharge. So I told them. They so rudely told me to go to McDonald's and that I was now in Cedar Rapids and they didn't do that. So yeah, I so rudely told them I don't eat McDonald's food and the reason I ordered the way I did is because that's how they do it back home. Again they both told me I was not back home and was in cedar rapids. The young male on the mic told me go have a good night somewhere else because he was refusing to serve me. Then he called the police. So I waited. Seriously over a spicy chicken sandwich. So I talked with the police. Got the name of the GM and will be talking with him as well. The service here tonight was horrible. The two young people in the store at the time on the mic were both black. As am I. So this is not racially motivated. They both had dreads. One was a male and the other a female with red dreads. They sent another young male outside to put the trash out. I know to see what vehicle I was in. And yes, I'm not from Iowa and my plates say just that. If you have to go to this Wendy's, just know they would rather you go to McDonald's and have no problem telling you so. Horrible service. So...

This location is by far the consistently worst Wendy’s I’ve ever visited.
I don’t set my expectations very high. I don’t need cheeseburgers that look like the ones on the commercial. I don’t need you to wear a huge smile for meeting me or pretending that serving the food is the highlight of your day.
Apparently there is no greeting required here.
The last four visits it’s been consistent in that matter. This time, when I got to the drive through, the screen to confirm the order was broke, but not nearly as fractured as the service attitude of the person taking the order.
When I got to the window the order taker confirmed my order to which I had to correct it. I received an eye roll and a window close for politely reminding her of what I had ordered.
After the food was delivered, the door was slammed shut with not so much as a word.
Customer service doesn’t exist at this place.
Out of the last four times I’ve visited spread out over a couple years they have left things out of my order three separate occasions.
The food I did receive was as trash quality as the service attitude of their employees.
I highly doubt people are going to read reviews of a fast food restaurant, and use those reviews to make an educated choice. But if you do? Don’t go here.
Ever.
And if Wendy’s corporate is reading this? Shut this place down...
