Cream & Crepe Cafe is Cedarburg's best kept secret and is a true gem. My wife and I love this place a have been frequent visitors for years. We want to try other restaurants in Cedarburg but cannot pass up the chance to dine here.
Located in Cedar Creek Settlement along with the Cedar Creek Winery and several gift shops, the historic and rustic ambiance is inviting and relaxing.
The Creme & Crepe Cafe features an amazing selection of crepe entrees, sandwiches, soups, and a spinach salad served with hot bacon dressing that is simply deeeeelicious š
The homemade soup made fresh daily is worth the trip alone.. my favorite is cream of broccoli. If you are a fan of really good soup, you have to pay this place a visit.
My wife loves the coffees and teas they serve. I am a fan of the ciders (both hot and cold) as well as the hot chocolate. If you want more than a sample of the Cedar Creek Wines, order it up here and enjoy it with a view overlooking Cedar Creek.
Make sure you leave room for dessert. If you dont you are really missing something special. They feature crepe desserts in a variety of flavors and ice cream desserts that will delight your sweet tooth.
We love the seasonal offerings and daily specials they serve as well to coincide with the local events, change of seasons, and holidays.
Don't take my word for it... stop in and experience Creme and Crepe Cafe yourself. You won't be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCrĆØme & Crepe was so adorable, inexpensive, and the environment was enjoyable. The staff was friendly and attentive. I loved that the restaurant was within the Cedar Creek Settlement and that there was so much to do in the area even after lunch here. I would say this is one of the perfect places to eat in Cedarburg, and is a cute date destination. The dessert crepe and the broccoli cheddar soup was my favorite. The drinks were also greatā¦including the coffee and apple cider we tried. The Rueben sandwich and Rueben crepe were the only reason I didnāt give this place 5 stars. Frankly, those two dishes where not very good, and I ended up getting really sick later after eating here. Iām unsure if I was sick due to this specific restaurant, but I am concerned about the meat quality, and it didnāt taste like other Ruebenās Iāve had. Just given the quality of those two dishes, I am giving the place a 4/5, but still recommend others come here for the soup, dessert, and hope others find the other dishes are better than my experience. Iāll happily come here again...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place has been a staple of Cedarburg since the early 1990s. My dad took us here for lunch when we were kids, and not much has changed about it. For that, I'm grateful because it's simply a great little spot to grab a bite to eat while enjoying downtown Cedarburg. The Woolen Mill building, where this restaurant sits, adds an atmosphere of warmth and nostalgia that simply can't be recreated. Creeky floors, open floor joists in the ceilings, antique decor, and even vintage silverware and china is a nice touch. The food here is simple but delicious and hearty. They specialize in crepes but have great sandwiches and some of the best cream of broccoli soup I've enjoyed anywhere. I like the Ham and Swiss and the Reuben sandwiches, and the ham and cheddar crepe is my favorite. Try and get a seat by the window so you can gaze out a Cedar Creek and the waterfall of the dam through original antique glass window panes from when the place was still a woolen mill. This place is especially awesome on cold rainy days. I hope Cream and Crepe is...
