Good morning, If you have food allergies do not eat at this restaurant. I was at your restaurant on 1211 Imscher Blvd in Celina, Ohio this last weekend. I am emailing you in hopes that you can train your staff better so one does not have an allergic reaction again like i did. I am allergic to peanuts, Tree nuts and Shellfish. I made the waitress aware of it when I got to the restaurant. She told me it was no problem and that she would let the chef in the back know. I ordered Two of the farmland burgers with fries. I believe it was around 6-7pm. After my friend and I finished eating, I went back to the best western hotel across the street where I was staying for the night. I was in town for a lifting competition on saturday. Within 45 minutes of eating the food I was throwing up non stop until 4am.I am very lucky my throat did not swell shut and that i only got a splitting migraine, small rash and started puking. If you can not provide a safe meal for someone with food allergies please do not tell them you can. I would have much rather not eaten here and been perfectly fine for the night. I do not believe that this was your intent but someone either did not inform your chef or someone simply did not follow the guidelines that you may have already had set in place for people with food allergies. I hope this doesn't happen to another customer because this is life threatening and someone could have died. After trying to talk to a manager on the phone and sending your company a message to speak to the owner or a manager over this matter and being ghosted both times left me with no option but to leave a google review. I will also be reaching...
Read moreI have been coming here for years. The food and service use to be great. So great there use to be a wait every weekend. Not so much anymore. It seems that recently every time I order the prime rib it is a coin flip if they have it or not. When they do have it the prime rib is mostly fat. I understand that it is a fatty piece of meat but 3/4 of it should not be fat. I also do not think the cooks know their cuts of meat let along how to cook a steak correctly. Since they were out of prime rib my girlfriend got a fliet. Needless to say she got 2 thin pieces of beef that they apparently forgot the put on the grill. The "fliet" were black hockey pucks. I see that the owner or Manger is responding to the negative post. Just save the response. We won't be back. The portion sizes on your sides are also a joke. The boats use to be full. Now if you get sweet potatoe casserole you get an ice cream scoop of it. The cheese on the au gratin potatoes taste like kraft sliced cheese. The quality of the food has absolutely decined over the years. That is sad. CJ's use to be a great place to eat and the only real reason we would go to Celina. The quality of the food is not at all...
Read moreCJs high marks more like cjs low marks. Sent back our blooming onion appetizer because the outside layer of the onion was still on it making it not edible. We sent it back and asked for it off the bill. Then we got 2 chicken sandwiches that were dry, unseasoned and had mushy, old lettuce and tomatoes that were also not edible. I don’t even know how you can even send that out to the table when you can see how bad they are. Their fryer must need to be cleaned or changed because our fries also tasted extremely fishy. We spoke to our waitress but no manager came out to speak to us or even apologize. I work in food service and we would never let a guest leave without at least having a manager apologize to them. Extremely dissatisfied. Would give negative stars if possible. I’ll never be returning to this poorly managed place.
