The muffins and sandwiches are delicious and nearly everyone I dealt with here is very nice.
My recommendation is stop by and have breakfast. Get an easy to-go order. Do NOT, however, cater an event from/place a large order here. Their service is a nightmare and they will embarrass you and complicate everything. Read on only if you want the silly details.
Sunday: I went in and ordered 10 boxes of a dozen (each) muffins. Tuesday: I sent my assistant to pick up and she came back with 4 massive boxes, 120 muffins instead. I had to drive back (30mins) and have them re-boxed. By the time it was fixed and I was back on my end of town we were 2 hours behind, which is annoying when you're trying to bring breakfast to 10 of your clients. Positive: The owner was really nice and had it fixed up in 15-mins. He gave me breakfast for free as a gesture of goodwill. I let it go.
The second time I placed an order 1/2 the size. The order was properly packaged, but they misplaced the receipt and asked my assistant to PROVE that I had already paid for it. I asked her to hand the man her phone and he said, "Well the thing is, my manager doesn't believe you paid for these so you have to show us proof." Verbatim. WHAT?! They eventually released the order after I sent a photo of the receipt to my assistant.
For a place that boasts of great catering and has just-check-here order forms for nearly every possibility, they really don't handle large orders very well. I'm more disappointed than upset, because I thought I'd found a nice "thank you" gesture that I could use...
Read moreTheir bagels and muffins taste good. I don’t have any gluten sensitivity, but there are times I don’t feel great after their bagels. Everyone’s body is different, but I’d attribute it to mass production which often yields poorer quality. Not as much in the muffins as the bagels.
Onto the real issue though. They are not friendly. They act like “what do you want” and as if it’s an inconvenience to even exist in their presence. I’m not sure if it’s because they often do more corporate stuff and work early in the morning and by the time it’s 9/10am they are over it.
Additionally, I’m not sure what’s going on with their cash/payment system. They don’t tell you they have a 4+ percent credit card fee and when you ask for a receipt they give you the lower non credit card fee receipt. For individuals submitting the expense this can be an issue. But also the bigger issue is in the state of Colorado they aren’t allowed to charge you more than a 2% credit card transaction fee.

Read moreThis location is absolutely wonderful. I've been coming to this location for a couple of years now and they always are so kind and helpful. I started coming in here towards the end of my late wife's life to help my boys perk up on the way to school and I have continued to use them when I go to events and for a father's prayer group i lead at a school.
I can call in my order for things that take a little longer and it is always ready when I get there. they slice muffins in half for me, they have coffee ready to go and I always get greeted by their staff very warmly and very kindly. I believe even the owner at many times says hi to my boys and checks on how they are doing since the passing of their mom.
