Tienda Carniceria y Taqueria Fiesta — Restaurant in Center Point

Absolutely fantastic find! We usually frequented a more well known establishment in Pinson but were so glad that place was closed one Sunday and decided to come here instead. Couldn't have been more happy then and haven't been disappointed since. One of the best menu selections I've ever seen. Everything from Al pastor tacos every bit as good as from Tres Hermanos taco truck to fajitas that are every bit as good as any I've had anywhere else. I have tried many items from the menu as well as my companion and we haven't been disappointed with anything since. After many visits I still haven't gotten around to trying out the torta sandwiches. The guacamole dip is excellent as well if you're wanting more than your usual salsa for the chips which also are as good or better than any I've had anywhere else. Nothing to complain about, not even the modest prices which are much appreciated to a poor boy like me. I've yet to explore the walk over market adjacent to the dining area but my traveling companion says it's well stocked and full of interesting items.

My friend and I went about 40 minutes before close (I feel bad, but most Mexican restaurants were already closed after work). The sweet server promptly served our small sized margaritas (which were big for something called small). Despite being close to closing time, our server was attentive to us needing more chips and offered before we even thought about it. The chicken in our dishes was so well seasoned, which even other great Mexican places tend not to do! This place also serves as a store, but we did not want to hold them up from closing, so I can't rate them on that function

Small restaurant with both authentic and Tex Mex dishes. There's also a store connected to it with authentic Mexican merchandise and groceries. Never shopped at the store but it's always busy. And, I can't offer much of a review since the Tortas and authentic street-style tacos are what I always order. But they've never failed me any time that I've been. The only drawback is that there are usually only maybe two or three people working inside which makes things move a little bit slowly. But you can call your order in ahead of time which kind of helps...
