I ask for help over and over again, but you have to get right up in these people's faces for them to acknowledge that you need assistance. I do not mean to be mean in my review (I, too worked in customer service a few times, I was never out of the way by no means to my customers, they were the ones that kept me on payroll), just try to see things from a customer's point of view; then you'll know how much you'd also prefer to be treated when you have an issue with a certain product or where to locate something, or any other kind of assistance you or they may have. People these days have to be taught manners. In the old days, you were raised beforehand with how to treat others with the same respect you'd want from another. Overpriced for subpar quality food and other various items. The cleanliness leaves something to be desired. It looks like in inside of a Piggly Wiggly in the year 1996. Most of the employees are kind and will go out of their way to help you. But one of the younger cashiers asked me for my ID card for alcohol. No problem I say, I hand him my military I'd. He then asks a rude question. Are you even legal to be in this country? I've never seen a card like this before. 1 he's to young to even join the army let alone be working long enough to actually see one In person. I'm not offended because he thought i was a foreigner, I was offended that he could read the card to realize it was in fact valid. Attitude adjustment needed for some not all of the cashiers. Regardless of a customer not knowing whether they're closing their checkout lane or they forgot to turn the lane light on or off, when a customer politely asks are you closing and you don't answer, that customer is going to assume you're still working especially if someone is ahead of them and you're checking their items, then you rudely check my three items, walk away leaving them for me to bag, come back and decide to throw them in a bag and walk off.
