Let me start by saying I wasn’t sure if this place would live up to the hype however it did not disappoint. We started this adventure with the fried pepperoncini rings which were scrumptious. We then moved on to the Mozzi Bread which could have been a meal in its self, however it was the best cheese bread I have ever had. Next we went for the behemoth their signature 8lb yes I said 8lb meat lovers pizza and all I can say was wow! I want to put in a disclaimer here we understood going into this that we would have to wait for the pizza to cook and I can’t see deducting anything from this review for the laws of physics. Our waitress said 45 minutes and she was right on the money don’t order it if you’re in a hurry but if you have the time I highly recommend it. From the pictures one would think you’re getting some saucy mess however everyone at the table commented about how it honestly was the perfect sauce to toppings ratio. This pizza is THICK and the toppings were top notch but it was the sweet pizza sauce and the yeasty crust that really make this pizza. The pizza was perfectly cooked and came out piping hot. After having our fill of pizza with a glutinous amount left over we made our final selection and decided while here to go for the freak shake. These freaks are something to be seen I ordered the S’mores, others ordered the shake of the month the heat attack. My shake had toasted marshmallows, milk chocolate candy bar, nutty butter bars, chocolate whipped topping and chocolate syrup not to mention the chocolate pebbles coating attached to the rim with chocolate frosting all before the peanut butter and chocolate ice cream that make up the milkshake portion of this monstrosity. The heat attack had a chocolate ice cream base with a Swiss cake roll, brownie, chocolate donuts and chocolate cookie with a layer of chocolate whipped topping separating each dessert. Then to top it off a river of chocolate syrup is poured over it table side to make it that much better. Needless to say no one finished the desert but it was well worth the discomfort that comes with being so engorged and now a borderline diabetic. Overall I recommend Stellians to anyone who is up to a food challenge of this magnitude. The food is great not to mention humongous which can often be hard to do. Our service was good even though the restaurant was packed, and the price for what you get is fantastic. I highly recommend and we...
Read moreRecently, I took my son here to have a quick dinner and boy did I regret it. It was pretty awful. There was a sign on the door that requested that guests seat themselves due to staff shortages. So we grabbed a booth and sat down and waited for one of the 4 or 5 waitresses (so much for the staff shortage) that walked by our table to get us some menus and take our drink order. I assumed they were pretty busy so I waited patiently as all of them walked by numerous times without so much as a glance in my direction even though it was impossible to miss us sitting there at an empty table. Finally after 15 min, one of the waitresses made eye contact with me. I ordered a large supreme pizza and a chicken strips and fries. I had to pay for 3 of the strips individually because they only offered a chicken strip meal exclusively on the kids menu which only came with ONE chicken strip and fries with no other size choices- RIDICULOUS! Not all children are of toddler age and will obviously need more than 1 strip of chicken to fill them up. And the prices seemed overpriced for nearly everything on the menu. The waitress was pretty unprofessional but at least she stopped to take our order. So I placed your order and waited. A family of six came in after us while our orders were being taken but they somehow got their food before us. When are food finally did arrive it only arrived with my son's chicken basket and no pizza. I essentially received my pizza as I was paying the bill. I will not be going back needless to say. I doubt they'll be in business much longer if they don't get a handle on...
Read moreWe stopped here by chance while traveling home yesterday. I was just hoping for some Italian food tbh, what I got was nothing short of WOW. We had a short wait to be seated because of short staffing and how busy they are, but the wait was only about 5 minutes. They were very packed with customers but the flow was well handled. We ended up ordering meatballs for an app and bread sticks. Both were delicious and the servings were huge. Huge is a word we are going to continue on. We ordered the house special, an 8 POUND deep dish pizza, and chicken wings 😅 I was hungry. We ended up being SO full from the other items we ate that we took the entire pizza home. We had a Huge sundae and shared it between 3 people...we left half of it behind because we wouldn't have been able to walk, let alone drive the hour and a half to home if we'd kept going. Then after a long drive and some digestion, we made it home. That pizza went in my oven to reheat and here's where it gets good. I'm from Chicagoland. Breed, born, and raised....well it turns out this pizza was better. Giordanos who? 😅 In closing, we will definitely be making this a regular road trip just to go eat more.
P.S. The little town is in itself one heck of a great, hidden 💎 that's right off of a beautiful Kentucky bypass that has very light traffic, and many activities (very family oriented) to do along the way, regardless of which direction you're traveling. So, whether you're passing through the state or just live in Kentucky and are looking for something to do....This place might be the...
