Lucky Garden Buffet — Restaurant in Central City

Okay so today, as I came into town, cause I moved away from the area I was visiting with my friend and me and her went out for lunch/dinner. I've never had the issue as I did today with them, food is usually really great, and there really friendly. So how ever I spent 24.15 for two people, thought it was a little pricey, but hey who wouldn't pay that amount for good food right? So I got a plate and she got a plate, I took one bite, and I was done, the food tasted like it had been there since there lunch rush, well my friend she ate hers but then noticed her glass, was dirty, some whit stuff on the side inside it, so I waved the waitress over, and explained and showed her, she apoligized and I said I would like my money back, she said, I don't blame you I would to, I'm really polite cause I myself am an assistant manager at a fast food restaurant so I don't like it when they come at you like it's your fault when it isn't. Anyway, she said she could do half, understandable I didn't eat she did so why not do just half, well I walk out after thanking them and get in the car, I see I only received six dollars, that's not half of 24.15 so I get in there facebook, post my review and then send them a msg, sitting in the parking lot I'm texting someone about my experience and they tell me there sorry and to go back into the restaurant and the manager would take of me, well I do and when I walk in, she is yelling at me, her finger in my face and threatening the law!!! Cause I left a review in Facebook!!???? Says I ate my food which I didn't there was a full plate, and then asked if I thought just cause I didn't like the food why I should get a refund, well that's how it works, so some customer she is talking to comes over while I'm sitt By and waiting for police she said she called, and asked so what's the problem, I said well it's none of your business but I'll inform you cause you can speak English, I told him, she kept saying it's 12 bucks for two people I gave him six bucks, with my receipt I show him I was charged for 24.15 so he was like to save headache give him his refund for half!! So point is, I'm not bashing them but simply giving My experience I had there, and I will not be back due to being yelled at, finger in my face, threatend with law cause I wanted half my money back and posting a review, and they need to learn how to treat customers. My son suggested we go there for dinner and it was a welcomed change. The food was slightly different from the buffet in Oboro. We got there kinda late (6ish) for a Sunday dinner but the food was spot on. They are closed on Tuesday’s so be forewarned. Saturday and Sunday they consider the weekend at fourteen bucks a plate for dinner, still not bad compared to other buffets around. Service was great and the atmosphere was quiet for a Sunday evening. Definite recommend to anyone wanting something a bit different from Oboro. Running out of places to go Oboro, they have shut down all the good places to eat and are opening chain restaurants everywhere. I would rather eat at a mom and pop restaurant a day. Update April 2021

My husband I stop there after it has reopened after the covid shut down . Buffet sign said $9.99 per person. We ended at ping over $30 for two sweet teas and to buffet. Food was horrible. Everything was soggy and basically all tasted the same which was ..ick. I was sick by the time I got home. Up all night. So feeling effects. Even husband got sick and he can eat a 3 day old sandwich and come out okay. I honestly don't know why people think this place is so good lol wish I was one of them and I be happy, but I'm not and we are $30 in the hole and down 8 hrs. sleep.
