To whom it may, Wife and I drive as a career. On the road we find places we enjoy and Best Western for the most part fits the bill. After a phone call to a now “former” regular stop in Bowling Green, Ky. at Best Western we decided to try another name brand of hotel. Why? The lady on the phone at front desk was depressing to talk to, she stated “You are “ONLY” basic members of rewards and wanted to charge us an extra $50.00 to check in a little early. Customer Service Skills 0.1 tack, even less. Never again in Bowling Green!!! Wife happens to call Center City, Ky. Best Western by mistake. A person picked up our call “Thank you for choosing Best Western” in the most pleasant and comfortable tone. I immediately told wife to hang up until I picked up the lady’s tone. She continued to be informative, polite, professional and have tack. Her name when I took phone from my wife to thank her for her professionalism was Jennifer. After asking at check in we chatted with Ms. Jennifer Beliles. I have to comment on how pleasing and friendly she is. Concerned about our last encounter with the Bowling Green, Ky. Location and apologized for them. She “Jennifer Beliles” single-handedly saved the relationship we have with best western brand hotels. Salute to people such as her and at her level of Customer Service skill sets. The hotel here in Central City, Ky. is also far, far better in appearance, looks, hotel grounds and general customer service throughout the staff. Now, it’s time to go to Bowling Green, Ky. review and hope that the concern reaches appropriate...

When we returned, we turned on the lights and got quite the surprise. The back of the door and the wall behind it was filthy. The lamp was missing a bulb. the toilet tissue holder was missing the spindle, the toilet was dirty as well as the seat was dirty and the top had what looked like duct tape residue on it. Occasionally we would get a waft of sewer gas. The mattress cover looked like it had dried blood on it. The pillow cases were either not clean or stained. The young man "Rocky" who sometimes helps out was very nice. he changed the bedding including the mattress cover, sheets and pillow cases. Rocky was a very nice young man and was the only reason we stayed. The office manager did refund some of our money and explained that the reason he didn't give us 301 was because the AC was broken and he wasn't sure it would be fixed. But then he rented it to someone else, leaving us with the...
