It typically eat here once a week And I've had excellent food and excellent service . This afternoon I go in order my order my typical food teriyaki chicken from my mom Giovanni's appetizers is appetizers and sashimi a for me for me a small sapporo and large hot sauce for me and an iced tea for my mom. . They gave me half the fresh wasabi that they always do so I ask for another dollar and they charge me 50 cents. I have no problem with 50 cents however let's be consistent I have never been charged for extra fresh wasabi And I'm always given double the amount they gave me today is a. I should not have to quabble with the server the guy who I heard said charge me 50 cents should be dealing with me.. I told her let's be consistent sent she said normally It's the small amount I said I am never given that small amount and I mean never and I always tip 25 to 30% so the server gets plenty and can tip the guys in the back and that's how you treat me as a weekly customer? ! Don't have to take my business there I can go elsewhere every week but I try to frequent the places that I like especially the small businesses to help them out. Honestly I can't believe they treated me this way . The food was tasty, the bentos were prompt in coming out (3 out of 4 ordered bentos). 2 mistakes on the kids bentos, they received tempura shrimp instead of gyoza, it was awkward at first having to explain that though one child WAS eating her Tempura shrimp, it WASN'T what I ordered for them, they happily comped 8 gyōza. The teriyaki chicken and beef tasted ok, rice was GREAT, salad was fresh and had an amazing eye appeal and taste.

My sushi order was handed in even before I received drinks, literally less than 5 minutes after walking in I handed the sushi menu in for 2 rolls and 1 salmon nigiri. I didn't receive my sushi until after the rest of my party had finished their bentos, and note 2 of the diners were my 6 & 7 year olds, the other their mother who picked out all the veggies from her beef teriyaki... I'd estimate it took 25 minutes to receive my sushi. Horrible because it was ordered BEFORE anyone else. Although the sushi was GREAT again... The experience left a bad taste...

Their food is delicious! I personally always get the spicy Korean Ramen(extra spicy) and it never disappoints. My husband & kids usual get Sushi. They always switch it up & try a different one each time we go. So far everything they've said their sushi was really good.

The staff is always super friendly, they check up on you & if you need anything or if you liked your food, pretty often. The restaurant is always clean, as well as their bathroom(womens at least). The ambiance is always really mellow, yes you can hear other people's conversations every now and again, but it's never too loud to where you can't enjoy your meal. It's a small place, but has decent decor & like I said it's never too loud in there. Over all it's a 10...
