Dragonfly Chinese Take-out — Restaurant in Centralia

So my family went here (1/1/23). To begin with we were asked if we were here to pick up an order and my husband said no we were there to place an order. To which the employee stated “well our menus is there” proceeding to walk away(we were ready).

Moments later a man comes out of the back and rudely says “ Hello? How can I help you?” My husband stated he was there to place an order and the guy states (again rudely) well it’s going to be 30 mins! My husband continued to say that’s perfectly fine we don’t mind the wait. This guy by this time was seething and taking our order berating us as we told them our order. Overall they were Incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional for no actual reason.

We went back today (1/28/24) only to be charged twice a price that was not displayed as a total. When we began to explain this the lady came screaming from the back to “CALL YOUR BANK” over and over again. The food is not worth...

No where, on the website, does it say they are not open for dine in, but we were allowed to sit in the restaurant and eat. However, the young man at the counter was inattentive, mumbled, and wouldn't even bring our food, that was in to go boxes, to our table. I ordered lo mein. It was extremely salty, and tasted like sea water. The noodles appeared to be left over- they were sticky, gummy and had a bad after taste. My husband had sub gum chow mein and it was literally a 1/2 cup veggies and chicken, and a full cup of the crunchy noodles. It also was extremely salty. We definitely will not go back, and will not recommend it to anyone. Also, before we realized that we would have to pick up our own food, bus our own table, and hunt for our forks, napkins, etc, I added a $10 tip to our $35 meal. I would not have done that for any other...

Editing to say we will not be coming anymore. The food quality seems to have gone down, but prices have gone up and the guy that works there is a jerk or unprofessional 75% of the time. I’d go to Shang Hai on Tower St, they’re nicer and the food is better.

This is where we normally order our Chinese food. Sometimes the service is a little brisk, but they’re usually short staffed so I can understand. The food is good, there’s only been a couple times we weren’t happy with it (burnt rice or food didn’t seem up to their normal standards) but that’s only a couple out of the many times we’ve ordered from there.
