The tacos were tasty (I appreciated that the tripa was bien dorada/extra crispy without my even having to ask for that, yay!) so I would’ve given 5 stars but I had to take one off for the strange thing the (otherwise very respectful and nice) staff member did when I asked to use the restroom. For some inexplicable and very bizarre reason she decided to incorrectly assume I was a man (for reference I’ve been a woman all 40 years of my life, I just happen to have a short haircut, as do millions & millions of women all over the world) as she told me to use the men’s restroom, which was so odd because both restrooms were right next to each other and there was no need or reason at all for her to specify which one she wrongly mistook me for. I was already walking towards the bathrooms which were obviously next to each other so her offensive comment was just not necessary at all (as most of us lesbians do not enjoy being mistaken for men as I imagine she herself would not like to be mistaken for a man either). So that’s just my constructive feedback for her and all the staff— the doors on the restrooms are already well labeled and the customers can easily see that and it’s a single use restroom anyway so there is zero reason to hurtfully randomly guess someone’s gender by telling them which bathroom to use, especially if you’re completely wrong, as was the case yesterday. ##After our first time, trying this restaurant, we decided to bring back our entire family. My husband got the same thing as he did the first time and he enjoyed his. I asked the waiter, which one was their shrimp cocktail, and he showed me I ordered that, when it came, the bowl was full of base, shrimp and juice, and some avocado pieces. With what the menu called prawns, and to me appear to be more just shrimp, and they appear to be microwaved. They did not taste good the base shrimp and brought together tasted rancid and I couldn’t eat it and I had to return it, which I absolutely hate to do. My daughter got a torta, and it seemed like taco filling on a hamburger bun. And other people got the Dishes as well and the shrimp. Also taste it either old or in properly cooked I love doing these reviews and I have done a lot of them. Not recommended. High prices not worth the small portions you get. The plates are large but misconceiving. Flavor was meh. Only one person in the kitchen on a Saturday and one server and there was a small child, maybe age 4, running around the kitchen the entire time.

More Details: The chips and salsa were not great and that’s pretty hard to mess up. The salsa tasted like pizza sauce. Only one of the four meals at our table was decent. The burrito I ordered was supposed to have beans and rice inside and only had rice. The carnitas that was ordered was super fatty and small portion of meat. The combo plate was a joke; taco, burrito and enchilada. The taco had very little meat, the burrito was no joke about 5 inches long and again, barely any meat, the enchilada was okay. When it was time to pay the waitress brought us our tabs and took about 10 minutes to come pick our cards up, we were the only people in the restaurant at this point (6:10ish pm).
