American Italian Bistro Restaurant — Restaurant in Ceres

I'm so disappointed in this place. They get three stars for being decently priced and friendly, but decent prices for so-so food aren't anything remarkable. We ordered a calzone and a BLT for pick up. Maybe they treat their pick up orders differently or were rushed for lunch, but our calzone was undercooked and the blt was a disaster all around. Bacon was thin and overcooked and the bread was inexcusable. You'll see in the pics that they used the end bread piece and overoasted it so they turned it inside out, to have a burnt side inside and untoasted at all on the outside. I know we're in a tight economy, but for $17 , two inside pieces of bread is not a lot to ask for. Definitely will not be returning. Actually, let me deduct another star bc 3 is average and this was far below average...

Went in with my girlfriend and our newborn midweek, and it seemed pretty quiet with a few tables taken care of by one waitress. We were treated so, so well by the waitress Marisol who was so helpful with us ordering, attended to our every need, and even helped set my girlfriend up with her order and additional napkins/utensils and water while she nursed at the table.

My girlfriend ordered gnocchi, which wasn't on the menu, but was happily made for her regardless and it was out of this world delicious! I had a chicken pesto calzone that blew me away with not only how good it was, but how huge it was too! Absolutely top shelf food.

Overall, we felt so welcomed and well taken care of. Can't recommend this Italian restaurant highly...

This place blew my mind. I haven't had a dinner this delicious in a long time. I just finished 10 minutes ago and there wasn't a single flaw I could perceive. The service was fantastic, the atmosphere very cozy. And the food...whoever made my dish takes pride in his work, and it shows. Even in my appetizer, antipasto, I was able to experience flavors I had never even known about. I can't believe such a place has been so close to home without me even knowing. If I had to nitpick, I'd say they were ever so slightly understaffed and because of this I came in a bit confused lol. I will definitely return and tell my friends about this spot. It deserves...
