First off, I readily admit I chose a busy day for my family's first visit: Mother's Day. They had an all-day buffet. We made our reservation the day before. We arrived and we were nicely greeted and seated within 10 minutes. That's where the positives end. When seated nothing was explained even though I mentioned it was our first visit. We were next to the drink station where a pre-teen was in charge and visibly not happy about it. She gave lots of side eye. The pancakes were hard little pucks. The bacon was stringy and greasy. The beans and rice were adequate. The chilaquiles with green sauce were okay. I asked about 6 different people, in passing because no one stopped to ask us how we were doing for a long time, for my complimentary mimosa. Finally, a server brought it as we were asking for the check. It was complimentary and that is all I can say about how it tasted. The best thing to eat were the tiny birria tacos outside, which we knew were fresh because they were popular. Second being the made to order asada tacos. Condiments were not being refilled at noon, when we were there. For our entire visit fruit was being prepared and again, right before we left we were able to grab some. They did not seem ready or prepared for the amount of business yet some food appeared to be sitting quite a while. Would I return? Possibly. I don't think it's completely fair to judge based on a busy day when a buffet is taking place but at the same time it will probably be a long time so I can get this visit...
Read moreMy family and I recently visited Azteca in Ceres for their all-you-can-eat experience, and overall, it was fantastic! The food was delicious, with a great variety of options that were fresh and flavorful. The customer service was also excellent—everyone was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was welcoming and enjoyable, making it a great spot for a family meal.
The only thing I think could use some improvement is the organization of the food stations. The setup feels a bit scattered, and because there’s no clear flow, people end up bumping into each other while trying to get their food. A more structured layout or designated lines would really enhance the experience.
Other than that, we had a great time and will definitely be back! Highly recommend if you're looking for good food and a friendly...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this restaurant today, and I’m so glad we did—it’s truly a hidden gem. From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. It looks like a family-owned spot, and the warmth of the staff made the whole experience even more special. Every employee was kind, attentive, and genuinely serviceful, adding to the welcoming atmosphere.
But let’s talk about the real star—the food. Every dish was packed with authentic Mexican flavor, reminding me of meals shared with family back in Mexico. It was comforting, delicious, and made with so much love. The entire experience felt like I was sitting around a table with loved ones, not just dining at a restaurant.
If you’re looking for a spot that feels like home and serves amazing, authentic food, don’t miss this place. I already can’t wait to go back!
