Carnitas Michoacan — Restaurant in Ceres

What happened to this restaurant. Been here a bunch of times. Never had problems till then came here and had a bad experience. When we ask them for something they refused to bring it so we had to get up and get it ourselves. When we ordered something they didn't wanted to look at us face to face and were just watching somewhere else and not interested in talking. Wow this place gone down. Racist kids came yelling a word that I myself would be so embarrassed if that was my son yelling that word. Restaurant employee told them stop saying that with a smile or so because he knows those kids I think meaning he did nothing but let them yell that word over and over again. Didn't kick them out. Plus saying Americans be angry at this or that how embarrassing. I'm glad that's not my son or that embarrassing that the employee did not kick them out. Teen there working serious attitude and no smile. Kinda a yuckie face. Needs to work on smiling. Bad experience here employee does nothing and those kids were teens but don't know how to act their age so kids. Both employee and those kids should be embarrassed. They were racist. Trying to say this not in a rude way but a serious way of what happened. There's also cameras so if they think I'm lying. I sure hope those cameras have voice recordings cause yeah need better education or if they don't like this country. No one is stopping them...

Ate here for the first time and really enjoyed it. They have delicious, authentic dishes. Prompt and friendly staff.

I ordered their Chilaquiles Verdes Plate. The plate already came with egg, and I added chorizo, which I recommend. Despite being quite oily, the Chilaquiles were served crunchy and were a decent portion. The sauce paired well and was not too spicy. The chorizo just topped everything off. The order also came with a side of beans and rice. The beans had a great taste. I think they might use lard. Either way, they were delicious.

I was also able to try their Burrito Verde Mojado with Carne Asada. The meat was juicy and full of flavor. The sauce was the perfect level of spicy and sour. It was a perfectly wrapped and packed burrito covered with cheese and smothered with green salsa topped with sour cream. A delicious burrito in my opinion. They also have it with Salsa Roja.

Might be back to try their pozole and...

Good food. Terrible service. We were a group of 8, myself and two other families there for the first time. We left very disappointed. Doubtful they will go back a second time. Half our plates came out, then two more. Once all the other plates were out they tell us the fryer isn't working and our two carne asada fry orders could take awhile, do we want to order something else. Not sure why they waited so long to tell us this. The server was unfriendly, obviously unhappy. The whole time there were 2-3 families in the restaurant, pretty empty. There wasn't enough help, only two servers, one of which was helping with to go orders at the busy front counter. We only saw her when she took our order and as the plates trickled out. We had to ask for water refills, asked for a knife and chips 3 times. No apologies, no acknowledgement. I hope they can get there staff...
