You know fake when both persons behind the counter are agreeing with each other, overly smiling and answering each other's questions. You get it. Cheesey. ---- I think the prices are set on a concept and not quality.
Revised 8 months after opening and numerous visits. Standard by Gearhouse* offers Coffees, teas, and flavored hot and cold available along with freshly baked bread. Bread may not be available early due to fresh baking cycle. The selections of breads is very nice, from homemade to various artisanal masterpieces. Great for a party! The atmosphere is casual and service good. Owner and staff are friendly and cheerful; mostly no snooty highbrow "Seattle" attitude here except for few servers and one of the managers who eschews a newbie trying to order without understanding the coffee"lingo" which is a put-off for strangers. The fresh sourdough is incredible and I'm grateful to have a go-to sourdough place that isn't the farmers market. Staff is incredibly skilled and kind! The lunch specials are always changing are pretty unique! You can't really beat a grilled cheese and tomato soup combo. Especially when everything is fresh and made with care. My only issue is the main parking lot is just a lot with no outlined spots, so parking can be a little awkward sometimes and it's not really clear that the lot beside the church is extra parking. They JUST opened so I'm sure things will change as time goes on. I'm excited to patronize as they grow and develop. They started off with a bang!...
