Such a cute downtown spot! They have unique decor inside and out. I love the location right by the stream. There’s plenty of indoor seating. It’s warm and comfortable. Staff is always genuinely kind and helpful. The business is constantly doing projects or ideas that get the community engaged. There’s a pay-it-forward option where you can pre-purchase a menu item and leave a slip for whoever aligns with what you’ve written on the slip to redeem what you’ve purchased. A unique idea that is individual to this small business. Food and drink are delicious! I’m still thinking about the honey mustard panini I ate two months ago. Lots of menu options for both food and drink. It’s a delight to see different varieties of freshly baked goods available upon every visit. Prices are good, but definitely adds up quick if you order anything other than a drink. Serving sizes are typical. My only note would be that I think there’s ripe opportunity to decrease menu size to focus on more speciality items… While delicious, the sandwiches can be kind of basic. This has its positives, but I personally don’t want to leave feeling like I could have made it at home. I want a special menu item that makes me crave so bad that I can’t resist going back. Overall I’m very happy with my experiences at this cafe! Can’t...
Read moreI have only visited this establishment a few times. I absolutely do enjoy the cute, little cozy aspect to it. It was nice to just sit and relax and enjoy my coffee. The service was very friendly and fast. There seems to be a lot of variety when it comes to choosing sweets, drinks or sandwhiches.
I wouldn't say I was a huge fan of the few drinks I have tried because they didn't seem to have enough flavor for me. Not a big problem because I am more than willing to keep going back and trying all their different combinations. The coffee itself was a very tasty brew and the perfect temperature to warm you up on a freezing day. I also enjoyed the cibatta option for the bread, it was very tasty. I am looking forward to trying more of their items.
Also, the biggest thing I love is they have a pay it forward board there. I wish more places downtown did this, because there are so many people that could benefit even from just a cup...
Read moreRecently moved to the area and have decided to try the copious amount of coffee shops in downtown Chambersburg. Walked into the place and a middle aged woman (I assume was the owner or manager) saw me, didn’t say hello and proceeded to walk in the back. I waited a bit while I perused the menu and decided on a cold brew. A young girl range me up and told me creamer and sugar is over on the side. All the cold brews I’ve had were already doctored up with sweet cream usually and thought $5 was kind of steep for a basic cold brew. Sadly it wasn’t great and I should have just made coffee at home. All in all I was not impressed and the only thing this place has going for it is the pretty courtyard along the stream that runs...
