My 1st time Feb 2020, I ordered Venezuelan empanadas: "Carne mechada" y queso, and I had a chicha (sweet and thick rice drink) all was freshly made, with great authentic Venezuelan flavor. There is only one table right next to where you order, but there are many tables in adjacent main area of the food court. 2nd Visit July 29, 2020 this time because of weather permitting they also have an out side area where you can order and are 4 tables with umbrellas ideal for this COVID-19 times. The attendant/cashier she was very nice, friendly and professional. Today I had the traditional Venezuelan dish: "Pabellón Criollo" It is a plate of shredded beef, rice, black beans, fried plantains and arepitas (small Venezuelan type of corncakes) with a "jugo de parchita" (passion fruit juice). Everything was simple great!!! Yesterday July 10, 2022 in one of my multiple visits, I had a "Cachapa de jamón y queso de mano" and an "Empana de Pabellón"...

I stopped here because I love the Venezuelan arepas and service at their location in the strip mall on Buford highway. I've come here several times when stopping in the mall.
Here, the food is comparable to the strip mall location. Everything I've tried has been good. Recently, I had their Reina Pepiada, which is an arepa stuffed with chicken salad. It has avocado mayo with green peas. It is moist, unusual, and tasty. They have a wide selection of sauces.
It is easy to eat here while avoiding gluten and dairy. The arepas are stuffed like a pita sandwich. However, they only have corn, oil, salt and water in the recipe.
The service is friendly but there always seems to be a line. Additionally, the food takes a while.
There is a small dining area with 2 tables that have always been busy. I end up eating in the food court where, on my last visit, there was a pigeon. They also have some outside tables...
Read moreI’ve had arepas many times so I was excited to find this little place while in the area on a Sunday at lunch time. It’s located inside the very busy Plaza Fiesta (extremely busy on Sunday) in a sort of back hallway by the food court type area. The menu was very clear and easy to understand and there was a whole vegetarian/vegan section which surprised me! We tried the plain cheese arepa with the mano cheese. That was an additional charge but that is what I’m used to having with arepas so I had to try it. That cheese is so good and salty very similar to a queso fresco. The domino arepa had black beans and a white shredded cheese and it was warm with tons of flavor. We also tried the house made blackberry juice which was surprisingly good! I will definitely go back...
