Under the new management, I’m sorry to say that thing’s going south. They failed to keep up with the tasty drinks and flavorful banh mi.
I ordered 3 banh mi to go and clearly said that I wanted all the veggies to be separated. No other requests other than that. Still the ticket stated “veggies together.” I came back again just to make sure that I wanted my veggies to be separated!!! The one cashier didnt bother to ask for my ticket number hence I mentioned that to him just in case!!!! It was not until I got home that I saw them putting the veggies together with all 3 sandwiches. Now instead of having 3 meals, I now have to try to finish it all in 1 meal. To top it off, the grilled pork in my sandwiches was not palatable in any way. The meat was boring and salty, lacks of umami & savory flavor it once had; it’s completely different from the last time I had. My grilled pork sandwich tasted more like soy sauce sandwich with a touch of flavorless meat! I drove 20’ to them instead of to Huy’s because of the grilled pork sandwich, now I’m left with great disappointment.
I also ordered an avocado smoothies. From the look, it seemed like they did use real avocado as they claimed. From the taste, it was no where near how an avocado smoothies would be - this has to be the worse avocado smoothies I have ever had in my life.
I waited 15’ for the smoothies, 25’ for 3 of my messed up sandwiches.
I may only come back to try their noodles specials cause at least it’s quite a hype when I was there.
———One of the best bánh-mì here in Atlanta! I preferred them over Huy’s because they really stuffed their goodness in the bun instead of just barely enough to fill the middle. I also LOVEEE they have strings of thin sliced onion which accompanied the taste of banh mi even more!!!! Their chicken is simple, yet flavorful, seasoned. It reminded me of the street food vendor who set up their stall in front of the every primary, secondary, high school in Vietnam. This place hands down’s blown my mind. I definitely did not expect such delicious, scrumptious banh mi when I first ordered with them. Their drinks are also pleasant tasting! Customer service is also on point. I’ve been ordering with them a couple days in a row now and has not been...
