I’ve eaten at Cravings many, many times. As a college student in the early 2010s, it was the place I could go and get amazing food for a good price. My friends and I were regulars; the person at the counter knew our orders. One entree equaled two meals, so in college math, that’s cheaper than groceries.
Recently, I returned and found my self drawn back to experience those same flavors and the comfort that comes from a plate of homemade food. Time has not altered that place one bit. The prices are still great. The food is amazing. The service is excellent.
Don’t go here expecting anything fancy. It isn’t fine dining, but not everything that’s five stars is fine dining. Do go here to enjoy great food at a great price with complimentary chrysanthemum tea that hits the spot every time. Cravings has perfected what it does, and the campus is so much...
Read moreI've been coming here for around 10 years except for the time when covid first hit and during my time as a vegan and I've always found the owner and his family super polite. It seemed like it was stored in a freezer for a very long time and then re-heated. The "black bean sauce" that was poured over the chicken was clear (it had no color), with only small, sparse remnants of black bean mixed in. The entire dish had a salty kind of flavor distributed all throughout, so I wasn't able to discern if the "sauce" had any of its own taste. In summary, the chicken didn't feel like chicken, and the sauce didn't feel like sauce -- definitely an odd dish. I had to throw most of it away. The only part that I enjoyed...
