Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Champaign

I came into this place and I ordered a number 14 with dijon, no tomatoes, add cucumbers, add oregano, add sauce, and it took them just under 2 minutes to make it. Still pretty fast. At least they remembered to add the dijon. I got my kickin ranch and I sat down. I ate it in seconds and used the woemens restroom.

I was out in a flash since someone was still stuck inside the mens room.

The floors were actually clean. At least cleaner than the stores found in new Mexico.

The employees here were laughing at my accent. Only because I can laugh at myself as well.

The atmosphere here is a little bit more dim. And what I mean by that is it is easy on the eyes. It doesn't seem like anything big is going down here. Its slow. You can see the cars moving by in the distance but everyone here is QUIET. I like quiet. but not too much quiet. It almost creeps me out with how silent this place is.

The drivers get their own parking spots. Thats messed up! I don't get my own parking spot for my job. Man this place...

Ok first time over a hour wait.. brushed it off everywhere has things delayed sometimes.. second time over a hour wait call and they tell me my food was delivered argued with manager who refused to refund me or deliver pretty much told me I was lying because driver said it was delivered asked my address 5 times so we both knew right address.. finally told me he will send his driver back out and if it's same address he will not leave my food well driver comes back out and tells me he did indeed deliver to wrong address so told em tell his manager plug his mouth with a knob.. anyway didn't order for a while decided try again couple weeks ago 2 hour wait... Ok so next time order early no big deal maybe I keep catching short staffed days well again almost 2 hour wait and my final time at what point do you close deliveries down because i can order 10 pizzas from slowest pizza place get em...

I am writing this review so that people know that JJ cannot deliver on time anymore because of shortage of drivers. Thrice my kids' lunches were delivered 50 minutes late to their schools, and they had no time to eat. I placed the order at 8 am for 11.30 delivery and their lunches reached them between 12.15 and 12.30, including today. They mix up orders and don't follow instructions - happened multiple times but we let these things slide. For instance, adding cheese when asked not to - etc. About delivery - when I called they told me that they are very short on drivers, and they cannot guarantee delivery anymore. I understand this - it seems to be a widespread phenomena. But they really need to let people know, so that we don't depend on them until they get their employee issues sorted out. Such a shame because we ordered from JJ every week for...
