This place is quite the letdown for me. I will say the DRINK itself has nothing wrong but bubbles are a big part of why I buy bubble tea. I consistently noticed that they DO NOT sweeten their bubbles. Gotten bubble tea here 3 times and the bubbles are never sweet. Their bubbles are also on the harder side (saw someone else saying their bubbles were not fully cooked, they are right), but still chewy. This ruins their drinks for me because I get a sweet drink and the bubbles are literally tasteless. If you want the perfect bubble tea this is not it.
EDIT: Even if the bubbles can be claimed as being sweetened, the actual taste when you combine it with a sweet drink is nothing near being sweetened (I get half sugar). So relative to the taste of the drink, the bubbles appear to...
Read moreThe teas are quite good, but the tipping requests are out of control here. first of all, they've designed the space so that you literally don't see anybody: you order at a computer screen, then get the tea from a small to-go window. so you don't even see any human. then, the computer has a tip pre-included, and you actually have to click "Other" and then type 0 to remove it. Then, they have a tipping jar at the to-go window where you get the tea. I think this is a bit ridiculous since you don't even see a person the whole time you're...
Read morePretty expensive and there's no place to sit and talk, but tapioca is very good. I really enjoy their fruit teas, they're a nice balance of tea and fruit flavors and the perfect sweet/bitter balance. I had the toast once and it was definitely overpriced but it was delicious. It's a little hard to travel with because of the sauce they put on (very liquidy), so I recommend eating it as soon as you get it. I've also had the mango crepe. It was small but delicious and the cream-to-crepe ratio...
