The Blind Pig Co — Restaurant in Champaign

BEWARE, there are two Blind Pigs, one block apart!!

For some reason, when you type "blind pig" into Google maps, only this one shows up, not both. Which is weird, anything with similar names to your search usually is fair game in maps... so I went to the wrong one when trying to meet friends haha.

This one looks sort of like a flipped image of the other location. It's a little bit darker inside I think, but similar decor!

I had the Blueberry Stout here at Blind Pig Co, soo yummy. Bartender was super nice.

They have a lot of wooden furniture, so it's definitely a casual feeling place, and I'm from the area so I know there are a lot of locals who come here. I always have fun at this place, but if you're looking for more of a "trendy" spot, this probably isn't the place to go. Perhaps try DESTIHL...

I spent my college years living in a punk rock house that had 5 screaming rowdy bands rehearsing every day of the week with many house shows sprinkled in-between. The Big Pig and Little Pig as the locals call them, were my escape from the fuzzy noise drenched bungalow we were living in. Walking in, you get transported to a European pub with some of the best and funniest faces from the town drinking the best selection of brew-ha's. It's guaranteed you'll be able to step in on a game of darts and make some new friends along the way. Ask about Whisky Club if you're feeling really adventurous and check out the plaque in the back that pays homage to some of the best and dedicated...

Some of their beers are really tasty including wookie snack. And the staff is pretty good ...most times. But mostly one big tap house gimmick. Now they have a brew house where they can bottle their cheapest brews and give you the lightest and clearest of their barrel. The owner has a prowl for women which makes me a bit uncomfortable to see. He's a bit of a perv. I myself have caught him hitting on my girlfriend, my friends have brought him up in conversation about how they have also felt very uncomfortable around him. But the beers alright, and they have a mug club with half off beers!...
