I order food from this Chandler location often and almost always get their Baja Spinach enchiladas. Yesterday I ordered dinner again two items two sides and couldn't get to starting to eat food until like 30mins after the food was picked up. I have been a vegetarian all my life and to my horrible bad luck it wasn't spinach but chicken or some kind of meat in both my enchiladas. I threw up, freaked out and called the place and person answering just bluntly responds without even a sorry saying mam we are closed now, call back tomorrow. When I asked him where am I going to get dinner at 9:30p in the night and can you do anything for me? He responds our computer systems are down too. I asked if there is nothing in your kitchen and he says our kitchen is closed too, call back tomorrow. Your order was placed more than an hour ago and we are closed now (how did you even know that if everything is turned off?). Like its my mistake I couldn't get to eating/checking my food earlier. I am really upset at this time and ask him what is going to happen when I call back tomorrow, I don't have any food right now and my kids are sick. Without even hearing me out, he responds our manager Jennifer will be here tomorrow and you can talk with her ok. I responded with awesome, so I just call back tomorrow and before I completed my statement he says yes thanks bye and he hangs up on me. Also, to add this isn't the first time they have messed up orders. In the past, they have completed missed giving me complete items I have ordered, they have made my orders wrong and I am a fool who keeps going back because I like their enchiladas. THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE RECEIVED. Forget apologizing he so much as dint even offer that he will have his manager call me. The last time this happened when they missed giving me food and they were almost closed at 10pm, the manager who was around was at least kind enough to put together a salad so we wouldn't go hungry so we went in and picked that up. I don't know who this person was but he sure as hell shouldn't be talking to customers over the phone. Next time you pick up any food from here, be sure to check the hell out of your order even if you have to CUT OPEN your enchiladas for that matter to be sure. DONT TRUST/RELY on them to provide food correctly for dinner. Else you will have to go hungry since everything else will be closed definitely for...
Read moreThe food is pretty good; could use a bit more oomph, but o stall some of the better Mexican American food in the food from any chain! the house margarita definitely needs work- pretty unbalanced and could use some tinkering, even with happy hour pricing it didn’t warrant ordering more.
The staff….. wow! Incredible! If I could hire them all to work for me I would. The host was overwhelmed with to go orders, a constantly ringing phone, annoyed patrons awaiting tables, and she handled it with great pride in her work and attention to every customer with a smile and great attitude. I was very impressed. I wish I could remember her name, but she was fantastic. Then our server Trayce was great. Just getting our order timely and accurately and being friendly to my kids is enough to make me satisfied; but he was constantly walking by checking on us; but not in annoying way and constantly interrupting- he was just visual looking at tables and smiling checking to see if there was possibly anything we needed. ; I just saw him constantly moving and keeping busy and making sure his tables didn’t need anything. He would walk by and look at the table, move on past, then come back 5 minutes later and look again, refilling water constantly. It was a real pleasure to have such attentive service, if I didn’t see him asiatimg other tables, I honestly would have thought he was there just to serve us.
But honestly, it wasn’t just him…. Every single person I saw in this place was hustling, moving, doing something. They were all friendly, plates were flying out of the kitchen, and busseres were constantly turning over tables to get waiting guests seated. Seemed like the team was well polished and management has definitely got them all buying into whatever corporate mission statement they preach- because these guys nailed it. Great job and as a fellow industry worker I applaud the effort from your whole team…. Fix the margaritas, and maybe add a bit more seating or misters/outside seating, but overall I am more than satisfied with our dinner! Thanks again Trayce! I hope you get recognized for...
Read moreWhat can I say other than I am highly disappointed with this location! I used to frequent the Tempe location often as I worked right next door and never had an issue. We walked into this chandler location and was immediately greeted by the hostess with an attitude. She told us it was a 30 min wait so we agreed to stay. There wasn’t enough seating for everyone waiting for tables so we head to stand for half our wait. Got seated at a booth where the sun was shining right into the other person’s face and they don’t have window coverings so I had to stick a menu on the window to help out. Once seated it took about 7 min for our waitress to pass us by to tell us she’ll be a few more min. Let’s just say we never really saw the waitress once she took our food order. We had to ask like 4 or 5 times for a glass of ice too. Ridiculous! When placing food order, I asked if there were onions in the enchiladas because I vaguely remember them at the Tempe location and the waitress said no. Guess what, there were. So I did not eat my meal and the waitress said she’d comp the item. Get the bill and they only took off $2.50. Um what?? When you say comp it means take it off so I told her to get the manager. He comes over and acts like the whole thing was a miscommunication and that they’re taking the order off the bill. I also expressed my deepest disappointment with the place but he didn’t seem to care. Got the bill and the waitress basically gave us a different story that a different manager told her only to take off the $2.50 from the bill. Crock! Only reason for the 2 stars instead of one was because the shredded beef on the nachos was really good. We won’t be back. Y’all need to get it together and why do you have Pepsi products? Barf! Consider switching...
