Envision perfect weather on a cute little patio drinking a honey lavender latte while you share a delicious breakfast sandwich with your favorite person. My husband and I ventured over to The Maple House Wednesday and loved every minute. Such a cute concept with not only coffee, but alcohol options as well. I was pleased to see they stay open late and even have a cozy outdoor fireplace. The line was pretty long, but went swiftly. Service was awesome. I ordered a large iced honey lavender latte, a large drip coffee with cream as well as a breakfast sandwich. We were given a number for our food to be brought to our table. Our drinks were made within minutes and my name called out. There is inside bar seating as well as tables, chairs with booth type seating as well. If thereâs no seating inside or out front they also have a back patio and some seating on the side of the building. They bring the outdoors in with doors that open all the way out. Prices were fair the sizes of what we ordered. My latte was fantastic! Perfect amount of milk, not overly sweet and i thoroughly enjoyed it. My husbandâs drip coffee was just how he likes it, hot, black with a small amount of cream. He adds his own sugar to taste. The breakfast sandwich was delightful. The bread didnât get soggy, sauce had a good flavor kick and the egg was cooked perfect. After we finished eating we enjoyed some people watching, the weather and a walk around the area. It is mostly street parking, but there are multiple parking garages nearby if you donât mind a short walk. The only negative was itâs not Nextdoor to my house so I can go every...
Read moreThis coffee house is all about the atmosphere. They've truly optimized their outdoor spaces, with inviting seating on the front patio, back patio, and even a nice walking path on the side of the house. These areas are comfortable and designed for connection, making them ideal for gathering with friends, enjoying a date, or spending time with family while you enjoy your beverage. The inclusion of lawn games further enhances the experience, offering a fun way to relax and engage while you visit. While many patrons were enjoying food, my group, being gluten-free, wasn't able to sample the menu. However, I did bring a croissant home to my son (who at 15-years old, is quite the critic and expert), and he declared it "one of the best" he's EVER had. đ So... obviously food is very delish and popular - for those without dietary restrictions.
The espressos were decent, but without testing anything else yet.... the true highlight here is undeniably the ambiance and the thoughtful setup. They've done a fantastic job creating a welcoming and engaging environment.
We plan on coming back and enjoying some wine paired with an AZ sunset, as the adult beverage options are...
Read moreI came across this establishment on google in search of a cafe that offered a flat white, however my experience was not what I hoped for. The employees werenât super inviting and when asking how they prepared the drink I was wanting to order, the response was âdepending on the sizeâ. Traditional flat whites are prepared as a double shot of espresso with 5-6 ounces of lightly steamed milk. It is sort of false advertisement to claim you prepare certain drinks if you donât understand how to properly. The barista that made my coffee also seemed to rush it, not including any milk art (just pouring the milk straight in) and the milk was over steamed at that. I feel the experience of a coffee establishment is to enjoy the process, not rush it. It however was a very clean and beautiful place, and Im sure this visit was just a bad apple. Im intrigued to see how my next visit goes, a cappuccino perhaps. (Wanted to edit this to add, the coffee was still good! I have no complaints about taste profile or quality. However if you claim to be a coffee shop, I would rather the coffee not feel like an accoutrement and instead the...
