Wow! I'm not sure where to begin!! So tonight we went and this was only their 4th night operating, this is the second location for Pedal Haus in the Valley. Very backyard, fun, laid back vibe throughout the place. Daniel D. was our waiter and he was amazing. Very friendly, fast, knowledgeable about the menu (which is limited right now due to just opening but he assured us they'd have full menu within the next week or so), and really chill guy. We also met Julian, the owner. He was super sweet to offer choices for our 2yo daughter since we were seated at a high top table. He brought us a high chair and was super accommodating and helpful. He could be seen constantly around the restaurant, checking with patrons and making sure employees had support. He is awesome. I also got to meet Beau, the GM of the restuarant. He was one of the first people when we walked in to great us and was very welcoming and friendly. At the end of our meal, I asked him for Julian's name and I mentioned I wanted to write a review. He introduced himself and told me Julian's name. He was very professional and friendly. The food! Wow. Between my husband, our friend, my daughter and myself we ordered: he carolina bbq wings, buffalo wings, Classic burger, garlic truffle fries, pretzel appetizer, and bleu cheese burger (think that's what it was called), their margarita, whiskey and coke, and a couple beers. We like food, haha. Everything was perfect. The flavor in the Carolina bbq wings was amazing. My classic burger was cooked perfectly with some pink. The garlic truffle fries were devoured. My margaritas were so yummy too, a perfect balance. We loved our evening out, which happens so few and far between because we have a toddler. It meant so much how accommodating and friendly the staff were to us and our daughter. I've been to the Tempe location and have been patiently (sorta) waiting for this one to open and am in no way disappointed. Very very happy with this new location which is so much closer for us to manage driving to since we live in San Tan Valley. Amazing amazing...

A must go! Also by far the best place in Chandler to host an event. My wife and I just had our rehearsal dinner at Las Palmas this past Friday and it was perfect! A huge thank you to the General Manager Brandon Mautaw I honestly don’t know how to describe his customers service but it is nothing less than perfect! He is one of the best people I have ever dealt with, not only in the restaurant business but in any business in general. He locked in our date and got us on the books immediately to meet with him. He had us try a bunch of different things on the menu including food and drinks it was so hard to choose what to have on our set menu because literally everything is so good! We decided and Brandon put all the details together for us. It was like clockwork! We immediately knew that our rehearsal dinner at Las Palmas was going to be by far one of the best! Prior to the day Brandon would check in with updates or thoughts on how we wanted the layout. It was incredible, so awesome! Also the food and drinks turned out so good! We had about 100 people attend majority being from the east coast, NYC, NC, Miami and some from California and we can’t stop getting compliments about how good all the food and drinks were! I mean people keep saying “I want to go back there immediately next time we visit AZ!” Brandon and the staff were a tremendous help. They made sure the food and drinks kept coming the whole time and that all the guests were taken care of. Bartenders were on point and constantly making drinks at the perfect pace. If someone was too hot or too cold the heat lamps would be adjusted in seconds. I really could talk all day, but all in all it was so great! I will be recommending Las Palmas to everyone and anyone I meet. It is absolutely a must go to restaurant! Again, I can’t say it enough but I give so much credit to Brandon and his staff!!!!!! This place...

This happened this past weekend: It initially started from the hostess when I asked how long it would be for a party of three so I may put my name in the hostess just walked away went to the back. so I didn’t know what to do so I just stood there and waited thinking maybe she would come back and take our name. She came back and then started to walk back in the restaurant said you can come this way and then just sat us down and told us the menu was on the table as walking away. Unfortunately, I cannot give a review on the food because we were not served our food the waiter had taken our order and about 30 minutes later he had indicated he forgot to push send and would have to retake our order. Prior to that we were sat and left for 20 to 30 minutes and then our waiter had asked us what we wanted to drink, I had asked if they had coffee and the waiter said no and to be honest it’s not good you don’t want that so I ordered a water. My husband had asked for a ice tea and if he could get sweetener packets that he could put in there like sweet n low the waiter shrugged his shoulders and said no we don’t have that , so instead we all just ordered water. Then when we placed our order my husband had ordered a club sandwich and the waiter said nope we don’t have that you need to look back at the menu and see what we have for brunch. There after we did order our meals and that’s when we waited about 30 minutes until he returned to tell us that his order did not go through he didn’t push send and that we need to repeat our order to him. After sitting for about an hour and no food , nor any kind of return from the waiter, we decided that we were just going to go ahead and just leave, since all we had was water. It was very rude, and unprofessional interaction, when there was...

Great experience. Definitely would return. Let me start with my first impression. I called to see about call ahead seating since we were going to be a party of 10. Very sweet hostess on the phone explained how it would work, happily reserved a table for us on the patio and not only that...I explained that it was my daughters birthday and I asked if we could bring a cake and she said sure and offered to put it in the cooler for us when we arrived. When we arrived we were greeted by maybe the same hostess? And she sat us right away and took the cakes for me. Next, patio is lovely. I mean LOVELY, comfortable, welcoming and misters and fans and fun tables. Server (I believe Dan? He told me and I feel badly that I can't recall for certain), was attentive and fun. Great service. All our food came out as ordered and timely and was all good. When it came time for the cake he brought us plates and knives and even to go boxes. We did share the cake with him because how could we not? Such a nice place. Music was fun, really good eclectic mix and a good volume, could still hear it and have a conversation. All in all a great experience and with 10 people happy I say thats a win :) We will for sure be back to try other things on the menu. Very much like the vegan options and the cauliflower "hot wings" are bomb. Thank you for a great 20th bday for my daughter :)

Relatively unimpressed with our meal at Las Palmas. I’m giving 3 stars because the queso was AWESOME. But everything else was mediocre. First of all - where’s the flavor, guys? The chips, the tacos, the guac were all extremely bland. I’m not the kind of person to drown my food in salt, but it is obviously a great tool to enhance flavors. Everything was missing in salt, garlic, lime - classic flavors for Mexican dishes. The queso was the only dish that had tons of flavor. Everything else was lacking. The chips were very chewy. Some of them were light and crunchy but over half of the basket was hard to eat. The tacos were so bland. The veggie taco had mostly raw, crunchy veggies with absolutely no flavor or sauce. Luckily, I put some guac and queso on top and it was palatable. My husband said the barbacoa taco was okay, but really only had a “beef” flavor, not much by the way of seasonings. The guac was decent, but again, bland. If you’re looking for traditional guac, this isn’t it. It definitely needs some salt, garlic, and lime juice. I did enjoy the pomegranate seeds and pepitas on top. Overall, the food just lacks depth. We didn’t order any drinks, so I can’t attest to those. Given all the great food options in the downtown Chandler area, a restaurant needs to stand out to compete, and this one is just missing the mark.
