I recently had the opportunity to dine at Spirit House with a group of friends, and it's with mixed feelings that I write this review. While the food and service were truly exceptional, I must express my disappointment with the manager's behavior, which unfortunately overshadowed the positive aspects of our visit. Let's start with the good stuff because, honestly, it deserves recognition. The culinary offerings at Spirit House were absolutely outstanding. Each dish was a delectable masterpiece, showcasing the chef's skill and attention to detail. We savored every bite and were genuinely impressed by the quality of ingredients used. One of the reason we came here was to enjoy AZ Restaurant week. Furthermore, the waitstaff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable as we continued to order multiple drinks throughout the night. However, our encounter with the manager left much to be desired. When we politely requested a table inside, as the outdoor seating was beginning to be unbearably hot, we were offered the slim window ledge. After being quoted 20 minutes for a table twice (after an hour waiting), and then asking when we will be sat (others being sat before us)the manager's reaction was far from accommodating. Instead of empathizing with our preference for a more comfortable seating option, he responded in a rude and dismissive manner, making us feel unwelcome and we were the problem. It was disheartening to receive such treatment from a person in a managerial position. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for our concerns cast a shadow over an otherwise enjoyable meal. As customers, we believe that our requests should be met with understanding and a willingness to find a suitable solution. Regrettably, this was not the case with the manager. While the food and service were exceptional, the manager's behavior left a lasting negative impression on our group. It would be beneficial for the restaurant to prioritize customer service training and ensure that all staff, including the manager, embody a welcoming and respectful attitude...
Read moreI almost hate to recommend this absolutely amazing cocktail spot because part of the allure is the intimacy and private-feel atmosphere, and I dont want it to lose its charm! Interior is small and deliberately close. It is intimate and feels like a private club. It is the best place for a thoughtful, carefully-crafted, and beautifully served cocktail. It has the perfect environment for a small table conversation over a delicious whiskey. Inside has an eye-popping, horseshoe-shaped bar with stools and some small tables grouped in the rest of the space, but it all feels intimate. Decor is darker and dotted with colorful bottles, adding to the warmth of the environment. I've had several of their cocktails, all perfectly blended and great for slow sipping with friends! Full disclosure; I've never eaten dinner here, just pretzel bites as an appetizer. The bites are served with two dipping sauces, and they are sinful! There is a small patio with outdoor high top tables. I highly recommend Spirit House for its cozy atmosphere and its truly outstanding drinks.

Read moreMy first time here. Brought friend for a birthday drink & we decided to get some late night food too. She had been here before. There were 3 of us. I ordered Mac n Cheese and we also got Nachos. The lady bartender asked if we wanted meat on it. We said no because birthday girl doesn't eat meat. Our food came out right away. Super fast. I even said something about it. Well, the cheese wasn't melted on top of Mac n cheese, the dish it was in was cold & pasta not so warm. Bartender took it back to heat it up and then it was good. As we were eating the nachos I saw a little piece of carnitas meat on mine. And then other friends saw meat on theirs too. We had specifically said no meat. So returned it & got new nachos. Aside from the food issues, the Moscow Mule drinks were good & enjoyed watching the bartenders making the Old Fashioned drinks with a torch. And we did like & enjoyed the food just too bad it wasn't right the first time it was...
