This review is for Ellie & the girl who says "Like...Like ..Like..." Being argumentative, interrupting someone will only keep you from establishing an understanding. Next time take a breathe and try to understand what your customer is sharing with you. No hard feelings.
Most delivery drivers are aware, that if a restaurant is busy.. for example during the week day shift, it is best to go inside and wait/pick up the order.
All restaurants have a note in delivery apps to come inside. Every startbucks I have been to, hands the order via window if the order is ready. In the instance of an empty line, picking up at the window does not affect your timing and provides for efficient delivery to the customer. VS wasting time parking, coming inside and waiting in line. Consider that drivers make money by the time and number of deliveries completed, not hourly. As an early morning driver, I have never had a SB shake a finger at me for coming to the drive through when the line is empty, and the order is ready. It was unnecessary for 2 employees to reprimand me. No hard feelings.
What sense does it make, for a driver to park, come inside to pick up if an order is ready? Especially if the drive through is empty? ;-)
Our goals should be to help each other. Your need to reprimand drivers at the window actually wastes time. Yes there are policies to follow; common sense is also useful when serving the public.
I hope you have a great day, and that you do not lecture drivers for being efficient in the future. If the order is ready, quickly hand it to them via the window. If it's not? Tell them to come inside if they have not done so already.
Thanks for your...
Read moreBeware. Came to this location around 11:30am, line was moving incredibly slow for just having 2 cars ahead. Placed order and it was repeated back completely incorrect. Reiterated order and was told that they don’t offer a decaf option. I’ve ordered this drink for 8 yrs. There’s always been a decaf option. Some woman hopped on the intercom and said it could be made but considering the glacial speed of the line and confusion of the first guy, I opted to move on sans beverage. Since we were stuck in the lane for so long when we got to the window I asked for the managers number. I called, left a message, and later spoke with a Jericha who was both condescending and dismissive. Her response was that she has 5 trainees currently. Ok. During the course of our conversation I advised (since it didn’t seem to be paramount with her) that there are individuals who need to limit their caffeine intake; pregnant women, those with heart conditions, etc. and regardless of whether there are trainees, orders need to be made correctly or customers can be made severely ill. Jericha put on a fake smile phone voice and assured me she was fully aware but given her attitude and dismissive behavior for the associates employed in her store, I will not be back to this location and would encourage those with food sensitivities to...
Read moreI stopped to take advantage of the Happy Hour Promo. I pull up to pay & was charged for the 2 ice teas. I questioned the starbucks barista, Billy if it was Happy Hour. He said Yes & I questioned why I was being charged for both ice teas when I was supposed to get one free? He said, I'm sorry I already rang it up. When I told him I have been a loyal customer at this location since the store opened & a gold card member for 9 years, but will not be returning again & taking my business elsewhere, he then told me that customers have to ask for the promo offer. I told him that is ridiculous, the barista should ask the customer if they would like to get the promo, better yet; just apply the discount to Gold card holders. Billy then told me, the promo is only for Grande & large sized iced drinks. I ordered 2 Trenta iced teas! Those are large sized iced drinks. Chandler & Park Lane Starbucks you really need to train staff in customer service & to be knowledgable in promo offers. Yes, Billy did give me the drinks free after the fact; which he at first wanted to proceed to overcharge me; however, this longtime Starbucks customer will be taking my...
