This was my first time so didn’t know They make you pay first so we paid for Bahubali thali which was $59.99 and plus I put 20% tip. The guy said 3-4 people can easily eat one thali. He said there is lot of food. It was only me and my husband and food wasn’t enough. There was only one samosa. So do they think 2-4 people going to share only one samosa? 2 cut khaman, 2 spoon of Sri khand, only one rasamalai🤣. You can only taste one spoon of Sri khand that’s it. Quantities of vegetable curries were like 1/2 cup. Yogurt cup was like 1tbsp size. Is this some kind of joke or what? Buttermilk size was so small that only one person can finish in one time. They fill thali with more breads vs appetizers or dessert or curries. Undhiyu didn’t taste anything like Undhiyu. And no refills. No one even came and ask if everything is good? Nothing was tasty no flavor. I was shocked that they didn’t even serve water so then we decided to ask them to get our tip money back because there was no service at all. The guy said this is fast food restaurent so no service. Then why do they ask for tip when we pay? That’s how they get you. They make you pay first. Never going back to this place. Disgusting food and there is no service. Don’t waste your time and money people. So disappointed in all Indian restaurants here in the valley. They want to cheat instead of serving good food and good service. Don’t know who’s giving 5 star reviews. Either these reviews are fake or people don’t know WTH they are eating.

Jay Hind Indian Cuisine in Chandler, Arizona, is like stumbling upon a culinary unicorn in the desert—unexpected and utterly enchanting. Their Gujarati Thali is a symphony of flavors that dance on your palate, making you wonder if you’ve been dining in black and white your whole life. The Gobi Manchurian is so delightfully crispy and tangy, it’s as if your taste buds are riding a rollercoaster designed by a mad genius. This isn’t just a meal; it’s a gastronomic adventure that redefines deliciousness. The ambiance at Jay Hind feels like a warm hug from an old friend you didn’t know you missed. The staff’s hospitality is akin to being welcomed into a home where the kitchen is the heart, and every dish tells a story. Dining here is not just about satiating hunger; it’s about feeding the soul with experiences that linger long after the meal is over. In a world full of eateries, Jay Hind stands out like a lighthouse, guiding food lovers to a haven of authentic Indian flavors.

Great place for delicious food! All vegetarian, delicious food! Lots of options on the menu especially for chaats and finger foods. I had the Gujarati thali, I honestly didn’t enjoy all the options, 2 of the curries were on the sweet side so I put those to the side but the rest of the thali was delicious. It came quite late though, my whole family was done eating by the time my thali arrived. I enjoyed the Gobi Manchurian as the appetizer, it was really good, spicy and delicious, Gobi was fried before cooked in the batter so the crispy taste was amazing, best one I tried so far in the valley. Chole bature was also delicious, the bread was out of this world. Lastly, pav bhaji was ok, again not too spicy but little sweet for my liking. Mango lassi was also quite delicious. Totally recommend this place and will be going back. Gave it 4 stars because I felt the service could be a little bit friendlier.

If you're craving authentic Indian cuisine, Jai Hind Restaurant in Phoenix is a must-visit. Their menu boasts a variety of delicious dishes, but the highlights are undoubtedly the Gujarati Thali, Paneer Lavabdar, Poori Bhaji, and Kathiawadi Thali. Each dish is a testament to the rich culinary traditions of India, prepared with care and bursting with flavor.

The Gujarati Thali offers a delightful assortment of traditional dishes, perfect for those who want to experience a bit of everything. The Paneer Lavabdar is a creamy, flavorful delight that pairs perfectly with their soft, fluffy naan. The Poori Bhaji is a comforting classic, with perfectly puffed pooris and a savory potato bhaji. And the Kathiawadi Thali is a spicy, hearty option that will leave you feeling satisfied and eager for more.

The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish.

Overall, Jai Hind Restaurant offers a true taste of India with its authentic and tasty dishes. Highly recommended for anyone looking to indulge in some delicious Indian food.

Worst place ever - place felt very dirty and unpleasant and the two times we went for dinner on the weekend and we were the only ones there . We should have thought about it at the beginning as to why there is not a single person in a restaurant especially on a weekend but we were hungry to move places . We ordered the usual stuff from the menu . Food came in about 5-10 mins . The server came with the chaat items and accidentally toppled the tray . The food spilled a little bit on our dress ,table and floor . Even though most of the chat was still in the plate he did not offer to get a new one . He expected us to eat from the same plate from which the food was spilled over . That is not a mark of a good service that too at a restaurant . It was more than 20 mins and no showed up to clean the spillage on the floor . We had to tell them to clean. We ordered rajasthani thali and the dal and baati was terrible . The baatis were hard as rock and even after soaking it in the dal for 5 mins it was still very hard . Couldn’t eat it so ordered a new dish saying that we felt it is too hard to eat . The staff dint seem concerned . We ordered a few more items out of which only one or two was actually eatable . Worst place and never...
