Edit: back again on 9/4 for another lunch before our flight back to Chicago. The customer service was great, no issues. I tried something different this visit, the Turkey wrap. I expected a little more turkey and maybe a cold wrap? The wrap was served warm with warm lettuce and tomato which was unexpected. We ordered sweet potato tots with our sandwiches and they were a bit cold. Overall, I would return and happily try a different menu item due to my gluten allergies and dairy intolerance.
Can I start with, Thanks for existing? We really enjoyed the escape from traffic walking in to this place. It was light, airy, with cool outdoor seating options, a half in/half out bar, and such a welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Now the menu is a bit eclectic which fits my personality; I like a little bit of everything and this place has it: tacos, Thai, Americana, so you're guaranteed to find something to suit your tastes. We ordered The Reuben sans dressing and cheese and the sandwich was still flavorful, balanced with the tender roast beef and sauerkraut! Added the sweet potato tots on the side which were delicate with a light crisp. I ordered the shrimp tacos and I was impressed with the flavor! The light corn tortillas were filled and bursting with shrimp, they almost fell apart while eating! Minimal spice but balanced with the chipotle ranch, light dusting of cilantro and a creamy guac! The pico de gallo was good although I only wish the onions were more finely chopped. There are plenty of GF breakfast options and I'll definitely be back to eat breakfast and share my review. Another plus is the beverage menu and options ranging from alcohol and/or customizable smoothies with healthy add ons like flax, fruit, chia, matcha and turmeric. You'll totally feel nourished, not guilty after enjoying a meal here. Would definitely recommend if you're interested in eating something delicious and healthy, no matter your dietary restrictions. Edit: couldn't make it for breakfast, so I came back the next day for lunch. Service was lacking a bit, order came out wrong, our appetizer didn't arrive before the meal... It was a whole thing and the restaurant was not busy at all. I tried the shrimp lettuce wraps and they were great, although the lettuce was limp, I made it work. Yet you have the gall to accuse us of theft? We paid every cent, sat in your parking lot to write that review, and somehow weâre the criminals in your delusional narrative? If we âdashed,â we mustâve set a world record for the slowest getaway, kids in tow. Your failure to produce a shred of footage speaks louder than your baseless slander. Keep dodging, keep pretendingâyour refusal to back up your claims just proves the rot starts with your management and trickles down to the half-baked service.
EDIT: the drinks were removed after we asked for them to be removed because they were never received. I suggest you check your cameras (surely you checked your cameras before accusing us, right?), because we put $80 in the bill ($9 tip for terrible service) and I left with my wife and two kids. Feel free to call the cops if you really believe we dine and dashed. Iâll come and pay again if you show us camera footage of us dining and dashing. I now understand how the service can be so bad at Tryst, it starts at the top. Thanks for the slanderous reply. I am really curious as to how this plays out for you guys. After reading other reviews, I noticed that there are indeed cameras at you restaurant.    Read moreReviews donât lie! Brad the owner also the waiter was rude argumentative and so upset that he was shaking when I asked him questions about the bill. He also came back several times to the table to argue his point. I ordered the avocado toast w the asparagus, the chickpeas were so hard it could brake a tooth, the asparagus were soft and soggy. I asked if I could just get GF bread and just avocado. I got the bill it was 16.75 for avocado toast. Not worth your time and money. Brad to treat customers the way you did was inexcusable and sad to know this is your families restaurant. Food was just ok, so you might want to treat your customers better in order to get people coming back. Definitely will never return here to eat.

Just like you are doing right now. Lies lies lies! I didnât expect anything less from this establishment. So very sad!! Exact reason why I want nothing to do with your restraunt. Itâs sad that management and owners donât take responsibility for horrific treatment of their customers paying the overpriced amount for subpar food.
