I ordered a family dinner from the chandler Arizona location on ocotillo rd. The ham was not the traditional honey baked ham with the sweeetness and brown sugar. It was just plain old regular ham Like from the grocery store. I was confused because I’ve ordered so many times before and never had a issue with the ham not tasting honey baked. So I called the store and asked them about this and a young girl answered the phone and seemed very uninterested and said Um Um um...like 100 times...so I asked for a manager. She said the manager wasn’t there so she asked for my phone number and name and I would get a call back. I never received a call from that store so i reached out to honey baked hams face book page. I explained to them my dilemma and they said they would forward my info to the appropriate party. After 2 weeks I msgd them on face and told them that store never got back to me. I let them know when I order again what is the best way to ensure I get ham with your signature glaze? Should I try a different location This is the Honey Baked Hams response:
Hi Joleen, thank you so much for your update. During this time we are not able to do show our hams before purchase for safety reasons during this unprecedented time. We located the store's notes and see that a replacement was offered for the ham purchased. All hams are glazed upon receipt at the store before a purchase is made. Breakdown of the glaze is not uncommon and often seeps between slices. We apologize for any inconvenience and want to thank you for your continued loyalty to our brand during this time.
Funny thing is this store never called, emailed, texted or snail mailed me and offered me a “replacement ham” and I’m not going to keep calling a store that won’t even return my calls. Like blame it on me and say the glazed seeped down and someone called and offered a free ham so literally leave us alone and have a good day. If they offered me anything why would I be messaging you again and I provided my name address and phone number. Take my complaint seriously and find out why they won’t call me that’s not my job.
Now here it is the holidays and my family is asking for honey baked ham. I usually go to the one in Mesa seasonally but this store is closer to my house. Now days seems like no one cares about the consumers loyalty to a brand they just want your money.
Update: a year later they honored that email because I happen to be in the store...so I was able to get my free ham! So I’m going to...
Read moreI had an incident at this location. We placed our order and the person helping us started making our sandwiches. Her coworker approached her and they began arguing. He was upset that she was making our sandwiches 30min before closing. He told her she should give us the stuff and tell us to make our sandwiches at home. He said that he didn't want to have to clean up the mess. When she brought us our food I asked if we got her in trouble. She said that it was fine and left it at that. I called corporate to complain what he had said and that he was arguing with his coworker in front of a customer but never heard...

A great place for a delicious sandwich or to pick up a full holiday meal. We tried both the club and the classic ham on croissant and both were excellent. I actually had to call the restaurant to compliment Caleb on such masterful sandwich crafting. The ratios and balance of meat, vegetable and condiment...
