25 cars are waiting in the drive through, and about 10min of wait time between each order at the speaker.
When I got to the speaker to order myself, the older woman working said she would be right with me, but 12 minutes passed and I had to alert them that I was still at the speaker ready to order. Instead of just apologizing, this woman raised her voice at me through the speaker and said “there’s only two people working this morning.”
What a weird way to just say, “I’m so sorry, we forgot that you were waiting there to order.” I understand becoming busy and overwhelmed, but it’s the customer service that follows when people are waiting for 10 minutes simply to order the coffee in between orders...
