I am a respected reviewer. Just to clarify, I don't receive payment for my reviews. However, they appreciate the authenticity, especially given that I have been a resident of our Holy City for 32 years. I am a well-known wedding and corporate branding photographer, and my extensive network values my transparent and honest reviews.
Let's talk about an amazing restaurant, Barberitos. In most businesses, customers are often just another face in the crowd. However, at Barberitos, Kory, the owner, and Joel have a genuine Southern hospitality where they remember you and inquire about how you are doing. They truly care and appreciate their customers, which is quite rare nowadays.
Now, about the food. Let's start with the chips. Normally, when you take home chips from other Mexican restaurant, you end up with a greasy mess, the overnight back is all oil that you want to throw away. But not at Barberitos. Their chips are absolutely fantastic and I always ask for extra because they are just that good. Trust me, no high-end supermarket chips can compare to Barberitos'.
Moving on to the main course, everything is fresh and of high quality. The generosity and freshness of their meats and other ingredients are truly impressive. They offer a great variety of wraps and salads that are also fresh and delicious. As a bodybuilder, I'd say that my body gives a resounding "yes" every time I think about dining at Barberitos.
Let's now discuss their pricing. Let me tell you, it's hard to find a better deal than what you get at Barberitos. The quality of the food and service combined with the price is truly unbeatable.
If you look at my reviews, you'll see that I only support honest, hard-working business owners and teams. Barberitos is one of those businesses that truly make a difference in our Holy City. I encourage everyone to share their positive experiences and leave great reviews for this fantastic...
Read moreI would like to start out by saying I never write reviews but I feel like this warranted a review. Sunday (7/7/24) around 2 p.m. was my first time ever hearing of or visiting a Barberitos. I was on my way to Terrace Theater to see a movie and stopped here on the way to grab lunch beforehand and support a local business. I walk in and go to the counter to order a steak burrito. The lady working put steak and rice on my burrito and as we go to the next section to add toppings all the topping bowls were empty. She proceeds to tell me they had a rush and were out of a majority of items. I wish she would have told me they were out of toppings before I started to order because if I had known they were out I wouldâve left and went somewhere else. I essentially had a basic steak and rice burrito with no toppings. They were also out of salsa for the chips. I felt unsatisfied and that I just wasted money on something I couldâve made at home. Being upfront beforehand would have been appreciated. The inside was also sticky, dirty, and messy. Iâve had better experiences at...
Read moreI used to be a multiple times a week customer at the Knoxville, TN location, but every time I try to give this location a chance, Iâm severely disappointed. I wonât be returning. It is clearly poorly managed. The staff is always young people who do not care. Receipts from all the times theyâve had to run over to Harris Teeter to get ingredients litter the table closest to the restaurant. Salsa sits uncovered right next to the register instead of in its proper place (covered on the salsa bar.) The restaurant, from the grill to the counters looks pretty grimy and unsanitary. The food is totally bland except for the queso which is out of this world and therefore bumps this review up from one star to two. I do believe they will fail their health inspection and eventually have to...
