The food & service from Chick-fil-A at my last visit was fantastic as always! I don't particularly care for their potato wedges. That's no reflection on Chick-fil-A! That has nothing to even do with them! I don't care for fries like that from anywhere!
However, I didn't realize that Chick-fil-A has other items that I could substite for their Waffle Fries! I'm not sure what all of their side items are, but my friend ordered mac & cheese as my side. Of course, it was was delicious! Everything at Chick-Fil-A is ALWAYS delicious!!
The ONLY complaint that I have ever had about Chick-fil-A is waiting in such LONG lines! This day, the lines were just as long! However, we moved through the long drive thru line in no time at all!! Plus, our orders were all perfect! Extra pickles, no pickles, 2 regular sammies! By the time the debit card had been swiped, our order was already ready to be picked up (& it was correct too!)! That was unbelievable! 😁
Chick-fil-A's employees speed, accuracy, friendly & attentive service were all spot on! The friendly smiles & the employee's cheerful attitudes at Chick-fil-A are always contagious! Plus, their employees have MANNERS & they know how to use them appropriately!! I have always left Chick-fil-A feeling a little better than I did when I 1st arrived!
Other "fast food" restaurants always take forever! Then, the order's not even correct! Their employees inevitably have a sour attitude and are often downright rude! I usually end up having to drive around the building several times before they get the order correct! Their employees attitudes are anything but nice! After leaving Chick-fil-A's competitor's businesses I feel like my head is going to explode!
If competitor's greasy preservative filled fast food doesn't kill you, their employees rudeness just might do the job instead!
There is no doubt that Chick-fil-A, is the BEST by FAR!! It's only place for me! Well, unless my granddaughter is with me, that is! This Ole Nonnie is more than happy to go anywhere & wait for whatever her little heart desires.... AFTER I drive-thru Chick-fil-A to pick-up my own lunch 1st!👌🏻🐔💞🤣

Read moreYou know when you're coming off a bad morning (where the dog pees all over the floor and your 2 toddlers are screaming about disliking the clothes they're wearing and you're just trying to get everyone out the door in time to get to work); then you tell yourself you deserve a chicken biscuit b/c it's just been a crap morning, and you can (almost) always depend on chick-fil-a employees to greet you with a smile and deliver you hot food. WELL NOT TODAY. I placed a mobile pick-up order. I got the message that my food was ready, then walked inside and stood there waiting at the designated pickup area. I smiled and made eye contact with 4 different employees and they just looked at me straight faced and walked right by. I watched them talking and still not acknowledging me. I waited and waited and waited .... to a point that another employee, ON HIS BREAK, who was sitting off to the side in the dining area eating his food; GOT UP. WALKED OVER. Asked "Are you Samantha?" I replied yes and he handed me my food that had been sitting behind the counter this whole time. I looked at him in disbelief that not one person had bothered to ask if I needed something, or even think to hand me my food that was sitting right there in front of them. I thanked him. He gave a nice "my pleasure" and walked back over to his table and went back to eating his food. I walked up to the team leader and said, "I would like to thank that young gentleman sitting over there, who had to interrupt his break while his coworkers were standing there talking and ignoring me."
To Robert (the employee that had to walk over and help) - I feel bad that you had to interrupt your break for the lack of effort in your teammates and team leader, but thank you, sincerely, thank you.
Rant over. Usually no problems, with Chick-Fil-A, but with everything this morning, and the blatant lack of effort and positivity from these employees was just enough to set me off... and then I got to eat luke-warm food when I got to work after it's extra...
Read moreLook. I hate to say this. But this is one of the worst Chick fil A's I've ever been to. It's the location closest to my home, and at the end of the day I still love the food, so I'll keep coming back, but I'm always a little let down when I visit. This most recent time - they forgot to put my sandwich in my order. I was pretty bummed, considering that was my whole meal (I went with a friend whose meal was inside, just not mine). Thankfully, I had time later that evening to run back over and get my sandwich (that was my dinner). I went inside and told the cashier the situation. She didn't ask for clarification, but walked over to her coworkers (all very visible in my sight) and they all started whispering and glancing back at me. I understand that she probably didn't know what to do, but this whole interaction made me feel very self conscious. I was being very kind, I know it was an honest mistake, and I was trying to be courteous of them, but I started feeling embarrassed for being there and asking for my sandwich. The manager ended up bringing me over a sandwich and apologizing for the inconvenience and sent me on my way. They never asked for clarification on what kind of sandwich I'd ordered...and gave me the wrong sandwich. At that point, I didn't have time to rectify the situation again and didn't want to bother them anymore, so I left, but I was pretty bummed. Not the worst interaction, but it didn't seem normal for a...
